Hey guys. I'm ChuMp, and I'm an AFC.
Basics.
I'm 19, 6'7" and 210 pounds. My current tally is one girl for one night. That one night took me 4 years. So when I say AFC, I mean AFC. I'd say the worst part of my pick-up is being totally unable to approach.
Pick-up
I actually had my first pick-up today, in the school cafeteria, after I read up on some terminology and ideas. I had it all in my head. 3 second rule. Opener. Neg. Isolate, all that bull. It was supposed to go like this "Hey girls" {response} "How are you all today?" {response} "I got a magic trick I'd like to show you" {"ooh aah so cook"} [really well done card trick] {"oh hey awesome"}. No need to go any further, cause thats about as far as I got.
Instead it was more like "heyiwannashowyouacardtrick" {uh...k} [poorly done card trick due to shaky sweaty hands and talking too fast] "Huzzah!" {cool...}
I sensed impending doom so I got up and left almost right after I was done the trick. Gotta say tho, what a bloody rush. Bungy's got nothing on social rejection.
I'll take just about take any advice I can get and give any if you're truly desperate.

Right, I read the PUA welcome forum.
I live in Calgary for now. I got into the game when some girl ditched me for some Romanian guy about a week ago and I've been reading "The Game" by Style for a while now. I'm not big into hypnosis, but I'm willing to learn anything. I'm a huge geek, but I still snowboard and swim when I'm not with books or games. My goal is to pick girls up, get in some practice, then settle down long-term. Also, when a relationship ends, I want to be able to have a new girl within 2 weeks.

Let me be the first to say Welcome! And great job approaching. It my not have turned out how you wanted but at least you did it. Great job on that. Approaching is something that a lot of guys have trouble with. Just keep plowing through it and before you know it you'll get better and better.
