Not really new to the world of pick-ups, but I almost feel like I've been reborn. I've been in the game, since my break up with my fiancee in 05 and I had a serious bout with one-itis. The only cure that is 100% effective is the consistent success with closing other women, because I've found that even the most minute closing failure makes you want to run back to the safety net of the ex and that's just fucking gay...a man has to be a man and like Strauss said get over the fear of losing her.

But getting back to my re-birth, before reading this book I always looked at picking up women as circumstancial, whether it be you just happened to be running with the clique that she wants to run with or you know the same people she knows or whatever the convenience factor is. "The Game" illustrates how to make the circumstances what you want them to be vice what you have to settle for. So in turn, hookin' up still is circumstancial, but it teaches you how to run things more effectively. This is coming [b]from a guy that is attractive and smart[/b], and the fact of the matter is that I still only close about 30-40 percent of the time.

Looks mean absolutely nothing at all, that's only part of the game...value in certain environments is what gets you pussy. The only thing that I fear after reading this book is that the easier it gets for me to start closing more consistently is that I may start to respect women less than I already do.
