Whats up Fellas!

I live in Costa Rica. First let me say that its good to find a group of men with the same objectives who are willing to discuss their experience in order to improve their game. Somehow I used to be good with girls is the past but now it just seems harder. I think many of you will agree that deep down we know why it but there seems to be an introspective reluctance to unlearn all the things we are doing wrong. Like most (if not all of you) I consider myself a very intelligent person but probably more so in cerebral terms as opposed to social ones. So I've decided to work as hard as necessary to improve my game.

I've recently read The Game which led me to read The Mystery Method which inturn has led me to other books on NLP, social intelligence etc. However, I believe its important to let go of the books once you know the basics and Just GET OUT THERE ONTO THE FIELD. Lets do it! Let us systematically pick our venues, internalize our openers and routines and test them out. Lets not focus on finding our girlfriend just yet but rather on improving our gaming skills and this can only be done on the field with real people and real situations. Afterwards lets come back to the forum and share the experience and compare notes and track our progress. Thats the way real learning works. I'm sure we all have many good ideas but they wont be as good as they could be if we dont test them then share and exchange them.

I look forward to hearing from any and all.

good luck sir

mm led you to nlp books?!

anyway, you're correct - you learn by making mistakes... in field. just push aside your pride and become a student again. that's the main thing that makes it difficult to unlearn. of course patterns/habit/conditional learning plays a large part, but that's why you work conciously on your new skills.

hope to hear more about your success in the future.
