hey doc,
i have a huge problem w/ my negs...i am able to get myself in there pretty easy w/ an opener, then i fuck it all up w/ a shitty neg....my negs seem to go to far...any suggestions for a good neg that can apply for pretty much any girl????

Just don't neg. They aren't necessary whatsoever. Most people don't really know what they are, deliver them poorly, and use them on 7s or 8s.
People over estimate the importance of negs.
Spontaneous playful banter > Pre-rehearsed negs. |

On the other hand, some girls love being teased, even 7's and 8's. The key is to NEVER EVER neg them on their body image, because these are not 9's and 10's.
I've gotta admit, negging actually makes me feel more confident in a set, because in doing so you've lowered her value and made yourself look that much better. You can also just DHV yourself so that your value rises above hers, but if you use the two in conjunction it's much more efficient.
Finally keep in mind that negs are not meant to be insults. However innocent they may be, at their very root they are meant to target the girl's insecurities and make her feel slightly self conscious, bring down her bitch shield, and get her to see you as a high value man (no man in his right mind would make fun of someone he's hitting on, right?). |

You have to calibrate. Instead of using negs, use pre-selection stories to convey that you have other girls to go after, and you're not into her. That is a soft neg. I often don't use negs on HB below 9s. Instead I compliment them on their personality (not on their looks, as you may sound like the next guy). Then go into qualifying, "What do you have going on more then your looks?"
Works every time. |

thanks for the input....i am takin it that i should only neg a 9 or 10...someone that is just fuckin smokin hot and not used to nor ever gets a negative said about their looks....is this the right assumption???? I literally never have any problem pickin up a 7... its the girls though in the bar that everyone stands around and is in awe over, that i have the trouble with...and those are the ones i feel i should b goin after...
what is a good neg on a girl that seems to be flawless??? for example, tan skin, fake boobs, great legs, pretty face, and a nice ass....whats left???
does anyone have a sure fire neg????that isn't over the line...and i hate the one about ur nose wiggling when u talk.... |

Negs have a purpose. Teasing is also very good.
You use negs on a girl that has bitch shields. What are bitch shields? Girls that have a shitty, I am better than you, attitude.
How to use negs. Of course there is calibration, but really, you are going to have to get out there and figure out how to calibrate.
The most important thing is that once you say a neg, immediatly move on. Do not wait for a response.
E.g.,
You are saying a DHV story to the crowd. Target HB, with full on bitch shields, says:
"Are you done yet"
You turn to the group:
"Where is this girls off button?" with your eyes finally resting on her.
Immediatly turn back to the group and continue on with the conversation.
When you are teasing her, you can be more playfull with it as well as allow her time to respond.
"Why are you stalking me?"
Each one has a different purpose. |

Dont be an "ass hole"......thats what i was doing at the beginging. At one point my wing came to me and was like "Dude, why are u being such a dick to these girls...they are getting pissed off!". Learn when to neg and when to complement. Yes, COMPLEMENT! Sometimes u need to neg sometimes u need to complement....only time spent in sets will tech you when to do which.
Just try to catch yourself, dont over neg! |

Good Point, this is very important.
I like to compliment and neg at the same time. That way you have less of a chance of seeming like an asshole. Although body language and voice tonality also play a big role.

i used the advice, i went out fridaynight, and no shit picked up the hottest girl in the whole fuckin club....i would imagine a lot of it is that the girl didn't have a bitch shield at all....therefore wasn't the hardest target, but once i start talkin i couldn't miss....she was a 5'1 venezualan girl, she was gorgeous and was w/ two friends, one of which was shitfaced so my buddy took care of her, and the other of which wasn't a huge cockblock...kind of a good situation...a good one for a semi-beginner.
this i think was my best neg (mind you she was a tiny thing)
me: so how tall are you?
her: 5'1
me: bullshit, your like 4'11
her: no really i am 5'1
me: thats to bad cause u have to b atleast this tall to ride this ride (put my hand up just an inch or so above her head), but we can make an exception this once
