Ok, first part. I was texting a friend of mine, K, and we got on the topic of ice cream and she asked for my favs so I told her and she said she wanted to go out and grab some w/ me. I thought cool ok, then another girl, C, told me she'd buy me dinner since she flaked on goin to a movie w/ me. So I'm wonderin' if I should just text C and say, "K wants to grab some ice cream w/ me, you can pay me back before that," or is that tryhard and should I just ditch the flake?

| If the other girl is just a friend, then you can use her as social proof/pre-selection, so I could see it working as long as you know how to handle an obstacle and a target at the same time, while escalating with the target. |

Social proof will do wonders for you with girl C, but make sure your friend K who is acting as the pivot here knows when to eject so you have isolation with C.
Also make sure to communicate this to K beforehand...most girls, and people in general, hate to be used as springboards for other people's ambitions without being made aware of the fact beforehand. If she does this for you, do something nice for her later. |

I talked to K and she said she was game so I saw C later on and I told her in a C&F way (Your in luck.....ect) and she seemed a lil let down when I mentioned K. Could it be that her self-esteem is too low for pre-selelction? She always seems very comfortable w/ herself. Sorry for all the Q's over this situation.
