Movies are movies. Hollywood has yet made anything that will improve you as a person. Rocky always had some cute lines about fear. That too was a Hollywood creation.
The more you fight and struggle to get something the more your worth as a male will be eroded. Life isn't about fighting and struggling. The energy you give off with such a mindset will chase people away from you. No wonder American men put up with so much crap from females. They are always fighting and struggling! Don't fight. Don't struggle. Don't even allow those thoughts to creep into your head. Just go with the flow and have patience. Let life take care of itself.
So basically your trying to say, that going after what you want is a low value thing to do? And we should just wait around for life to happen to us... floating down the river like a boat with no ruder... I challenge you to find one thing of significance that has ever been done without someone going after it and working for it.
Waiting for life to fall in your lap is the lowest value thing you can do.
Most great discoveries have been discovered by accident. Penicillin and x-ray technology are two from the medical field, Doc.

Hell, even the theory of gravity was discovered by chance.
Low Value? The real world isn't about defining everything according to your frame of reference. It is about being who you are. Quit living your life through a frame that isn't your own.
No, you are the one who is just floating down the river. I am suggesting that you become more aware! Once you do that you will quit struggling with your doubts and fears. Life isn't about struggle and fear. At least it shouldn't be.
Well actually your 'accidental' inventions only started that way... then someone had to take action... if you need penicillin now how do you get it? Do you eat a piece of mold covered bread? Or did someone take charge and do what was needed to achieve a better result? BTW if your still eating the bread, maybe you should check out America... we have pills now
And you were the one who brought up value... you made the claim that if you fight for things it will erode your worth as a male. I wonder... do you think that people like Gandhi, Martin Luther King or Jesus Christ had their worth eroded because they fought to their last breath for what they believed in?
Your the only one who said anything about fear. I am advocating a disregard for fear, standing up and going after what you want and what you believe in with vigor. How is that not having a ruder? You sir are suggesting that we must let life take care of things and not direct our own paths. This brings a famous quote to my mind which says "If you fight for nothing, then nothing is what you shall have."
