Are you prepared for your date?!? This question came to me when I was talking to a buddy of mine, who managed to pull a number close not long ago. He was going to call her and setup a date. I asked him simply, "Where are you taking her?" He said, "I don't know what do you think?" PUA SHUTTLE, this is PUA GROUND CONTROL you have a problem! My response was you know your city better than I do, but if I'm wrong go online and check out citysearch because it has reviews of places.

Guys you should have several "good" to "awesome" date locations in your back pocket ready to go at a moments notice. He was surpised when I told him I have the phone numbers to 5 different restaurants on my phone where I frequent and know to call ahead and make reservations at. These are places that have a nice atmosphere, comfortable, I know some of the staff, and are some of the "more" recommended places in town. Granted they don't have to be 'expensive' to be good either. Just have some taste.

The days you aren't out sarging go out and try out some local hotspot restaurants. Get opinions on them from women that you know. The reason I found most of these places is women took me there and I liked them. When I take a woman there on a date I typically get compliments on my taste. Smile

My favorite place in Nashville I found is a place called Cabana that is a modern bar, big beer & wine listing, with tables where you can watch DVD's on a flat screen, or even listen to your iPod mix while you eat. The place is incredibly relaxed with throw pillows in the booths. I've personally seen people like the Dixie Chicks (say what you want) and Reba McEntire in there while on dates, huge DHV spike! Very Happy

Some places I go in Nashville, so you can get an idea...

Bottom line go out find some nice places that aren't too expensive and a good atmosphere. Know when the better days of the weeks to go there as well. That way if you want to setup a date on the fly while you are in the field, you are prepared!!!

Good list J. I'll need to compile a list of my own up here. But I don't like to take dates to clubs and bars for some reason. Hmmm...

Everyone does need a list of places to go.

Here are some of mine;

I have three areas to go to depending on where I feel like driving and where the girl lives.

Area 1.
It has a costume shop (one of the best I have even been in), coffee shop, bar, restaurant, ice cream, pizza. It also has a few unusual item shops (toys, gags, magic shop, old time candy shop)
It is one of my favorite areas to go. All of this is located within three blocks of each other. Perfect opportunity to bounce

Area2. Miniature golf, Pitch and put golf (par 3), a park, a bar, bunch of different places to eat.

Area3. Lazer tag, arcade, bowling, poker, rock climbing (my favorite), bar, restaurant

What I did notice in yours is you only listed places to eat. This is with the premise of your ’date’ places. Do you go out with girls other than restaurants? Are you asking girls out to eat with you?

Those are some awesome ideas. Thats nice to be in a place like Austin. Im in effing Arkansas. Pretty much the only things to do is eat and drink heavily. Both of ya'lls lists are great. I am hoping to come up with better ideas for my area. Its pretty limited area to do things. There is rock climbing, lazer tag and a few other things.

Any other cheap imaginitive ideas for a date?

Yes I use other places as well, I have some night clubs that I will go with them to that I get free entry. Also, places like laser tag, mini-golf, shopping malls, karaoke places, etc.

In the example above my friend was specifically asking for a restaurant thats why I listed them that way. Good follow up on that Valence!
