Last weekend a good friend of mine flew out to Toronto from Calgary in order to attend a workshop with Sean Messenger, formerly of Pickup-101, who is now running his own workshops along-side Lucy Becker, a female tantra master that has been running her own workshops for some time now. The workshops teach what Sean calls Power Sexual Presence, or PSP. He gave me a brief description of the workshop contents, including telling me that the course has both men and women in it (he said about 15 women and 20 men attended this particular weekend) and that they did certain parts of the workshop interacting in order to learn from each other. He told me about the tremendous growth that my friend had made and how he and "the cutest girl in the class" ended up spending a great deal of time together and Sunday night; which proves to me the value of this workshop, as after hanging out with the guy for several months, I still hadn't figured out precisely how to overcome the mental block keeping him from becoming interested in any women we encountered.
I found Sean to be one of those rare people you meet, that you instantly connect with and we ended up having a great conversation. I met up with Sean at about 2pm, expecting him to rush the interaction and have to run off in as little as 30 minutes and at most getting 2 hours to talk with him; instead we sat down at a pub down the street from my school and after losing track of time, we ended up leaving at around 10:30! I admit that I did most of the talking, but he said he really enjoyed listening and offered valuable insight where he could and entertaining me with more than a few great stories and concepts of his own.
Now I'll give you the questions I asked and Sean's responses to them. I tried to ask different questions than the regular ones I see guys asking gurus and mpuas and he most definitely gave answers unlike anything I would have expected from any other big name from the community. Some of these responses may sound like jokes to you, but I assure you that they are quite serious responses, although I admit a few of them had me clutching my sides in laughter. If something sounds to you like he's not being overly serious about the question, or truthful, again I guarantee you he meant every word and if you truly take heed, you'll learn a few things - I know I did.
What was your biggest hurdle?
"Self hatred. Even the things that I was proud of, I hated.
The fact that I could talk a lot, was due to the fact that I couldn't listen."
(This was where I asked if he would teach me this skill and he replied that he most definitely would and asked me to be his guest at his next workshop coming up this October, right here in Toronto. He said I would learn this skill on Sunday night and many others over the weekend and I can't express how thrilled I am to recieve such an honor. This is a hell of a stand-up guy.)
Would you label yourself as a PUA?
"Anyone labels me a PUA, I'm gonna kick them in the nuts until they rupture . . . in the heart.
I find all labels damaging and dehumanizing. Call me anything; call me brother; call me mate; call me Sean. "
What do you believe sets you apart from others in this field?
"I'm a grown ass man; I don't care if you think I'm smart; I don't care if you think I'm the best in the world with women; I only care about being the best happiest man I can be and helping other men achieve the same."
Do you consider what you do to be manipulative of women? Do you think manipulating women is ok?
"No. 100% NO.
I think anyone that is cool with manipulating women hates women, hates themself and would run screaming if ever he saw a vagina in broad daylight . . . because he is a gay homosexual. Noth that there's anything wrong with that.

"
If you could change one thing about the community/how men in it think, what would it be?
"Blow it the fuck up and start over."
What one piece of knowledge would you think, would be valuable to newbies and veterans alike?
(Brace yourself to have your mind utterly fucking blown...)
"There is nothing, NOTHING, more important than learning how to . . . breathe. Until you get this, don't waste you time with anything else."
(He went on to tell me the method of breathing he teaches and that he had posted this method for download on several torrent sites [so if you've got access to any of these, he whole heartedly hopes you will download his stuff for free in order to help yourself] and that guys had posted incredible results back as a result of utilizing it. He described to me the story of one guy that began using this technique. He said he made eye contact with a girl across the bar while standing there breathing and drinking his beer. He moved around the bar to see if it was just chance, or if she was really looking at him and she kept looking back. So he moved again and it continued. He went over to her and they started talking and ended up making out as a result.
I've begun using this technique myself and although nothing like that has happened to me yet, I do notice more women checking me out while walking down the street, in the grocery store, on the subway and in the school. I haven't been to a bar yet since starting this, but I have no doubt it would be even more powerful there, so no, he's not fucking with you, he's dead serious and I suggest you pursue this further by starting here:

What do you hope members of the community will achieve by being part of it?
"Make everyone in their lives happier, create a better world around them, and find and accomplish what they were put on this earth to do."
What direction would you like to see the community go?
"I'd like to see the community bring men and women together; to learn from each other; to teach each other; to make each other totally sexually fulfilled; and to eradicate the bullshit advertising marketing Viagra adds, over-priced, under-powered sports cars, fake titties, gucci shopping sprees and end the Battle of the Sexes once and for all. Men and women want the same thing, it's the people trying to sell us shit who convinced us we're different. Fuck THAT."
I dunno about you, but I loved his replies and I really enjoyed writing this for you guys, because I got to relive being in the presence of a guy that is truly happy and well intentioned, which was a moving experience for me. Anyone that is searching for that happiness, to stop hating themselves (I know there's a few of you here, who have spoken at length about this issue), to become sexually powerful and many other things (including the powerful breathing technique mentioned during our interview), then check out
http://lvo3.com/powerfulsexualpresence/ and if you're interested, I hope to see you at the up coming workshop October 16th-18th (I think that might be a typo on the site, my calander says 17th-19th if it's friday-sunday) for the lowest credible workshop price I've EVER seen. $850 is fucking cheap. I'm not trying to sell him extra spots and make him more money - he wouldn't appreciate that intention I'm quite sure - but even if you have to buy a plane ticket and a hotel for a few days, that's a cheaper price than any other big name run course out there these days. Conversely, I'll be passing on what I can and what I'm allowed to - out of respect for Sean and Lucy - in my own workshops and you can find info on/request them here
2-vt22828.html?start=15 on the forum and soon on the site I'm having built.
Hope you enjoyed the article and hopefully I can bring you more face-to-face interviews, rather than email based ones, in the not too distant future!
