Ok, quick backdrop.. Was in line for a local club that i can get people in free of cover charge.. cause well.. im the shit :D anyways. met this girl and a bunch of her sorority sisters in line to get in.. was drunk as hell talked and flirted with all of them but one blonde.. 8.5/10 imo stood out.. talked her up got them all in for free.. big DHV and then proceeded to not follow them at all.. made my rounds on other sets. got 2 other numbers 1 being a cocktail waitress and another 7.5 with K-close/phone# close. Finally ran into her and dance../Number closed. That was just this last thursday. I partied it up friday.. didn't text her. On saturday my frat was hosting a beer pong tourney.. and thats where this begins... onto the texting.

Me- Hey, what are you up to?

Her- Who is this lol?

Me - John, we met at (club) lol

Her- Hey! haha Did i give you my number I don't remember

Me- Yea, how else would i be texting you right now! haha

Her- haha wow sorry i forgot

Me- lol you're fine, I was pretty drunk as well.. What are you doing tonight?

Her- Im in St.louis actually

Me- Oh, nice! My house is having a beer pong tourney tonight, was going to see if you girls wanted to come party with us. You have family there or..?

Her- Aww I wish I could come! No i live here lol

Me- What!? I thought you said you went to (local school) lol. How often do you come to (My town)?

Her - Haha no sorry I DO go to (local school) Im visiting my hometown now.

Me - Haha ah ok, well we should def get together and party next weekend if you're in town.

Her- Oh yea totally. What school do you go to?

Me- (My school), Im (my fraternity name). So far 3-0 on the tourney! lol

Her- Nice! Im in (X sorority).. yea im drunkkk lol

(Didnt text back for a good hour and a hallf

Her- Whatcha doing?

(Didn't text back)

Now I didn't text her back Sunday but I got back to the 21 or monday.

Me- Hey, sorry I didn't get back to you the other night I ended up losing my phone!.. What are you doing?
Her- haha its alright.. doing homework :/ you?

Me- It was awful.. I had this shitty little go-phone till I got the new one lol. Nice, Im doing the same actually.. that and watching the highlights from the KY game. You like college basketball?

Her- Haha well thats good.. yes I do but my favorite sport is hockey! Sorry it took so long to respond my phone was dead.
(I took even longer to respond then her even though she apologized)

Me- No problem! that's cool, Im guessing you're a blues fan? I don't follow the NHL but im actually a huge fan of it during the olympics, I was so mad when Canada beat us!
(It was pretty late in the night then so she ended up texting me the morning after.. tuesday)

Her- Yea my dad got me obsessed with it he was a hockey coach for 11 years.

Me- Oh wow, that would def help explain it lol. You were up early! I love having my first class at 12 :). You decide a major yet?

Her- Wow lucky! I have class at 12 tomorrow though it was just today was my early day.. no :( im really interested in business though, you?

Me - ah ok, thats not too bad then. Awesome! you don't make me feel boring now cause... Im business admin. I either want to take over my dads company when he retires or start. my own, which would be badass imo lol. Are you the baby of the family? haha

Her- That would be awesome! I love that kuind of stuff cause my mom's an accountant. Haha im an only child

Me- Very nice, I wanted to be an accountant at first but then found out that im not great with math lol. I basically am as well, but i do have two half sisters on my moms side. Are you staying in the dorms or...?

Her- Yea thats okay haha Im a nerd I like math lol and thats cool.. yea I live in the dorm called (name of dorm). you?

Me- haha atleast you admit it! Oh cool, one of my friends stayed there his freshman year as well.. Im a junior/senior now in case you forgot. I live in the fraternity house but im not a stereotypical frat boy! fyi lol

Her- Oh I had no idea! well now i feel lame cause im a freshman :( haha well you definitely don't seem like it thanks.

Me- No you're fine!.. so far haha :). Well I have this 4 page paper on African American Literature (yea.. it sucks) cause its due tomorrow but you seem cool as shitso i def want to try an hangout with you sometime this weekend.

Her- Oh its okay I have meeting right now to go to and a math test tomorrow I haven't even studied forand I need to lol well thanks and yes we should :). Do you know (some girl I party with)?

Me- Sounds good and... Yea! Ive partied at her house on (some street) countless times. How did you know?

Her- Finally out of meeting.. haha i went to highschool with her!

Me- Nice. I just got back from playing in our intramural basketball game.. We won! Oh cool, yea Rachels def fun to party with. Were you good friends with her?

Her- Good job I wanna watch! Yea she is lol no we're more just acquaintances

Me- Ah ok. Yea you should! i'll let you know when our next game is. Im way tired and going to go to bed here soon. but good luck with the math test tomorrow! :)

Her- Okay! yea me too haha well thanks I appreciate that :)



What do you guys think? I feel like I come off as a nice guy... keep in mind im wanting you guys to critique my texting game.. so rip it up. thanks - JB

this is just my opinion and i may be subject to correction... but you're texting too much... even though you control the tempo in beginning... your initial intro was sucked to me man... i would've thrown some c&f there to lighten up the mood from the very beginning... and yeah it's ok overall... much better than what mines used to be! :D

2. I feel like the conversation is an interview. There wasn't really much flirting, teasing or attraction going on.
3. You DID NOT call her out or tease her for forgetting that she gives you her number. You LET her bullshiting her way out easily by making it appear like she doesn't care, she gave you her number just to get it over with.
4. Like the other guy said, your intro is completely boring. You started with "What are you up to?" EVERYTIME.
5. Keep the txt SHORT and BOLD.
6. You're going toward friendzone, PLEASE put on your superman suit and TAKE ACTIONs :)

Seems good, You kept the Conversation going, and she seemed to help as well, so she possibly is interested. But a Little More Push Pull/Negging/C&F and just teaseing her and having fun is always bonus points to.!

1. Like you said, tone down a lil, dont share everything, remain mysterious to her

2. Use more push/pull and teasing, and NLPs, this should not be hard.

3. "You can be sure next time I'll ACCIDENTALLY forget who you are and you gonna have to pay to get in ;)"

Go on with your convo.

5. It's different. SHORT and BOLD = you don't beat around the bush, say what you want and dont back down. Generally I use only one sentence for everything unless I'm sexting her, then i would need to be details :lol:

My 2 cents: You are texting way too much and your text game is boring. I couldn't make it through the whole thing. You want to intrigue and amuse her. Come up with stuff she's not heard before. Too honest?

This link is how I did text game as an rAFC. Now I only text to set up a face-to-face.

The above posts are good advice so I don't really have any more input.

However, I have to rub in the fact that Canada beating the US in the gold medal game was picture perfect in every way 8)
