Post subject:  To say you're a virgin or not?
I'm a little confused on what to do, and I would like to know what YOU guys have done or wish you did in this situation. Do you think it would be wise to bring up that I'm a virgin or just play it out unless she asks?

I may only be 17 but I will tell girls I'm a virgin. If they really don't like it just tell them that you didn't wanna just lose it like everyone else. And that you want your first time to be something special. That's what I tell girls when they ask, but I mean it.

There is nothing wrong in being a virgin. Its your personal choice just like it is for a girl. You don't have to tell a girl if you don't want to.

Even if she asks you could tell her something like 'why don't you find out (you want to imply find out by the way you perform in bed)' or say 'aawww soo cutie you want to be my first huh !!" or just say " Yes I am, I think sex is a special bond that one should share with someone one wants to connect with on a deeper level ".

Be confident, being a virgin is nothing wrong and if a girl doesn't want to sleep with you because of that then probably she isn't worth loosing your virginity to.

Dude one lie will just lead to another. I've been guilty of this. It doesn't help. I would suggest you be honest about your virginity.

I've been particularly guilty of hiding my lack of success with women. It really gets you nowhere. The girl will see right through your BS or find out one way or another.

Once you accept that there is nothing wrong with being a virgin, you will be free! Free from the burden of having to hide it, free from making up new lies, free to be who you really are.

Remember, what Johnny Depp's character John Dillinger in the movie "Public Enemies", a bank robber, says to the girl when she asks him about his past: "It doesn't matter where I'm coming from, it's where I'm going that is important"

He doesn't say that because he's ashamed of his past or is hiding anything. He says that to her because he's in control of his present and is about to take her on an adventure she'll never forget. ;)

Thanks for the replies. Just one thing, I don't want to be a virgin and it used to be a choice all up until about two years ago (religious issues, not religious anymore). I just haven't been able to lose it these past two years but I know it's gonna happen pretty soon.

The best answer is that you're not going to ask about her past, she doesn't need to know about yours. All that matters to you is that you're clean and she should be, too. Convey confidence and a girl should just assume you've been there a few times before. Make sure you have condoms on hand and can put one on in under 20 seconds.

Asking about sexual pasts is a pain in the ass because girls will lie, "I've only been with two guys. The other two didn't count because they used condoms, etc, etc." Just avoid the whole thing and neither of you has to lie to the other. Saying you're a virgin immediately makes a girl wonder what's wrong with you that other girls haven't had sex with you. Giving the girl answer of "I'm just waiting for the right one" doesn't impress anyone, especially when it's a lie.

my advice would be to, "fake it till you make it" trust me after its over, you wont have a aura that says IM NOT A VIRGIN. (well maybe for a few hours after sex) but if anyone asks you just flip the ? and ask them right back.

if you dont want them to know just say no. nothing else
