What do you do when you go to open a chick, or a group, and your mind goes blank suddenly?

What do you do when you want to make more small talk, but can't think of anything to say..how would you make conversation when your mind just blanks out?

practice at home over and over again until lines become natural and practice different lines so you have them for different occasions. The only reason you should blank is when you have nothing to say and that's not a good thing to have when you're making an approach.

Practicing is ok but nothing beats a flow state! When you first start off its going to take a while to do it but it gets easier. If you run out of things to say then spit OPENERS! Yeah, openers, they arent just for opening anymore. Other then that write up some DHV stories and practice those and make a qualification out of them. I have a white water rafting story I use to DHV and then qualify them on their adventureness (follow by leading)
