FR: Pickup with my Mom
Date: 6/21, Sunday (Father's Day)
Venue: Store in Bowling Green, KY

I was out shopping with my mother back home for this huge picture frame 16x48 for this panaromic photo I have of the Nashville skyline. We were in this little shop that sells frames and antiques, etc. My mother was wondering around the store and I noticed a cute blonde girl behind the counter in shorts, flip flops, and a local college t-shirt.

I approached her and asked her about the picture frame and explained what it was for but she said they didn't have any that size, and made a few recommendations. She asked if I was from Nashville. I explained that I was from B.G. Ky but moved down there 3 years ago for my job. Then I started asking her about what she studied at the University.

I asked her if she ever goes down to Nashville. She told me her friends took her to this gay club here in Nashville. I laughed pretty hard, and she asked where I hung out. I told her McFadden's and club Karma. It hit me that I had some passes to the places so I handed her one for each, and she thanked me. She then told me she wants to come down on Saturday and asked for my #.

My mom is ready to check out as I'm getting this girl's phone number in front of her...a bit weird but whatever. I get in the car with my mother and she turns to me and says, "I have to admit that was pretty smooth." LOL. Then my mother proceeds to ask me about how the dating coach biz is going... WHAT FUN!

I text the blonde later and chat with her a bit that way so continue rapport. Not a bad day...I wasn't expecting to go home for Father's Day and get a # like that.

We have gone on multiple dates starting the next weekend and the also on July 4th. At this point and are still talking and continuing our dating relationship.

Actually that reminds me of a situation that happened to me a few weeks back. I was meeting up with my mother, her BF and my sister in a restaurant. I started to get some banter in with the waitress HB9 but was totally "out gamed" by my mother when she just overwhelmed the waitress with verbal diarea. My mother always was the social type and I was trying to be low interaction banter with the waitress and her smothering the waitress with attention totaly threw me off guard. I really want to practice on hired guns but haven't had much guidance to help me in that department.
