Hey Guys upon seeing this the VH1 show i became rather interested in the PUA lifestyle. I have a guy friend who been doing this for several months. He inital started with Mystery Method alone had decent amount of success but sometime felt he got into the friend zone with girls not know when to express his real feeling. But then he recently dicovered MODE1 by Alan Roger Currie. Currie is about making your real intentions known to a women fast. My friend says since he starting using this method combined with Mystery Method he is able to quickly weed out a woman who is not really interested in him. Its important to Note that Currie goes up an immediately expresses his interest THIS WILL NOT WORK in my our opinion. You've got to display high value throw out your negs then when the time your getting her number if not before you let her know what you really want for her an that you don't want to be just a friend

with a combination of Mode1 and Mystery you guys should be unstoppable and be able to prevent the Friend Zone from happening Indefinitely

What my friend says is what guys do with mystery method is considered Mode 2 behavior

Points he makes in the video:
"Do you come here often" is not a good opener.
It's possible to waste time talking to a woman, then find out she's not available
Mode 2 is "Mr. Nice Guy", in short run can be good, but has detriments
Mode 3 is guy who pretends to be content with platonic relationship.
Mode 4 was mode 2 and 3, didn't work, and now he's resentful. Angry at women.

Mode 1 is totally self assured, confident, upfront and straightforward with your intentions and desires. If not reciprocated, you say so what and move on to next woman. Don't waste time. No small talk. You'll know within first 5 minutes if you have a chance with her.

Personally, I think you'll burn through a lot of women that you would have a chance with if you used a slower approach. I also think you need a high threshold for rejection to do this.

But like I say, what ever works, more power to you.

Mystery Method is based of the premise that you build attraction that confuses the girl if you want to be friends or if you have more intentions (A2).

A3 is where you explicitly state your intentions.
Hook, Reel, Release (Read the url posting for outer game in my signature)

Then you move into the comfort stage (C1-C3).

If you do not do A3, then the girl will continue to remain confused and default to the LJBF.

Example of Hook, Reel, Release:

She says that she does ballet... (it doesnt matter really)

"You do ballet?(Hook) I know how demanding it is and how athletic you have to be to do it. I really find that very attractive and it fits very well with my athletic lifestyle. (Reel) Except, we would never get to hang out with you traveling all over the place and we would end up breaking up anyways. (release)

At this point, if A2 was successful, she will start qualifing herself to you why you two would work out......

Then you move on into C1.

Time frame does not really play into any of this. Could be 5 minutes, could be the next day.

Although I'm not really familiar with Mode 1, making a SOI (statement of intent or interest) can be very important... especially for guys who are just staring out, and often wait FAR longer then they need to for that first kiss.

I will add this . . . sometimes you can get a girl to have a 3some with you and a current partner after you spend some time with her, who otherwise would never even consider it if you had mentioned it right off the bat.

Mode 1 always struck me as being Speed dating for those that study the more natural style of pickup. Unfortunately, I think the flirting and the chase is half the fun. I'm not the kind of person that goes looking to get my two pumps in and go home. I actually enjoy getting to know people. Personally, I find it troubling that I female would actually support something like Mode 1......but that's just me.

I don't support his opening tactics of "Let's hook up right now" I'd have to be on drugs to go for that LOL. but if that was the case every Chump on this planet would have no problems getting laid.
I do support making your intentions clear day 1 I do agree with his 1-4 modes. Also his theories on the 2 types of females The Wholesome Pretender and the Erotic Hippocrites I agree with 100% lots of girls are guilty of doing things like he describes.
If you've ever put unwillingly Friend Zone in the past/present/future you should consider being more direct so you don't get used:)
