Okay, this may be over analyzing, but who does it better than us?? lol
I was wondering which is the most alpha response to when a girl doesn't text you back and basically ignores your message. (granted you've been carrying on a txt conversation for a while, and it's not the first txt you've sent her) I came up with two possible solutions:
1. Ignore it. Don't acknowledge the fact that she isn't acknowledging you. If you're alpha then you don't have time for flakes and you've got a busy schedule. It's her loss not to text you and you couldn't care either way. Text her in a week or so and act like nothing ever happened. If she continues, then freeze her out. Permanently.
2. Text her again, a while later (at least a few hours), saying something like: "I can't believe you haven't texted me back yet. We are so broken up" or "You're totally screwing up your chances with me". This shows that you don't take second class behavior in a cocky/funny way, but may convey neediness. After all, if she's the one losing out, why do you care if she isn't responding to your texts?
See, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I don't know which one should be the rule I follow. Which one is more alpha and maintains the frame better? Can you guys clear up this conundrum for me? (wow, alliteration, I rule  ) |

Depends on how long you have been waiting for a reply. If it has only been a few hours I definitally wouldn't text anything. For all you know her phone died or something. I would go with your first option about waiting it out. And if she does text you back, you can go and use your second option right away, Just revise your wording.
Be like "Wow, that took a while, we are so broken up  ." Then you will be using both your options  |

I have to agree with the don't send send another text. Also, when she finally does respond, take a good 20 to 30 minutes to respond back to that one yourself, as if you were busy and didn't have a chance to respond to the text.
This I find especially important when it's a weekend night. She might be texting you from wherever she is out at, you need to make it a point to mention "I didn't see your text, I was hanging out with some new friends." This way you not only DHV with your social status, but your inspire a touch of jealousy.
I'm not an expert in Cocky/Funny but to me saying something like "we are so broken up" sounds needy. In order to pull off Cocky/Funny you need inflection, tone, and a smile, something you can't get in a text.
Long story short, this exact situation worked out so well Sat Night for me that it lead to her coming to the bar I was at. I <3 text messages |
