Telling your family your practicing pua

Well the last month I've been going out 3 nights a week and coming home late. I'm 19 and do have freedom living at home. My mom is one of those total christian mom's that is the really strict type. Lately she came up to me and started asking me why I been coming home late? She thinks I've been doing drugs or drinking and driving. Right now I'm thinking of just telling her about what I've been doing really is going sarging. I don't know how she will react but I think it's better than her thinking I'm a big drugy.

Explain to her what PUA really is - Being social, but shift the frame and make it look good in her eyes. Tell her that you are trying to go out and find people that are just like you. Tell her that you are only now learning how to sift through the good and the bad people/friends..

. I learned that the trick to making parents let you do what you want is to talk from their point of view. Good luck

I've never been particularly social before, and I feel that's something that needs to change about me if I want to be happy. I want to bring more people, _quality_ people into my life. Quality people don't do drugs. Quality people wouldn't let me drink and drive. I'm glad that you worry for me (it shows how much you care), but this really is a positive change in my life. I told her and feel so much better. I just said I need to develop my social skils and blahblahblah. I didn't want to keep it on my chest
