I was just reading the pickup bible "the game" last night before I went to bed. I came across a line that I didn't fully appreciate, the first time I read through it.
Can't remember the exact quote but here it is:
"In order to suceed, you must be ready to fail"
Think about it. My friend, a natural, always tells me "I didn't really care anyway" (talking about f-closing any given HB). Now I really understand where that comes from. When you get a #, go on a date, have her at your crib, after all your efforts. YOU STILL MUST BE ALPHA and GO FOR THE GOAL. Don't be afraid to lose your investment. I know you put your charm and time into it, but fuck it. IN ORDER TO SUCEED, YOU MUST BE READY TO FAIL. So let's say you make a move, and she is taken aback. SO WHAT. That is better than... trying to keep building the investment. At one point you must escalate kino to a intentful way.
Tell me what you think? (to guys who have more experience)

I completely agree with this statement. This is a good quote to pick out from the book! This applies in all aspects of the game from approaching ,to kino, to seduction. I agree you making a move and having her say no is better than, not making a move staying in comfort and ending up in LJBF zone. You have to push her buttons and test her boundries. She wants a challenge, and you need to give that to her.
Great Observation! |

My thoughts exactly.
Hahaha.... On a more serious note, its a tried and true saying. You can't win when you aren't willing to gamble... There are a thousand and one sayings to that effect. It's something to keep in mind for those suffering AA, you have to fail to know what success is, you can't just expect to become a PUA from reading up and running through sarges in your head, you have to get REAL LIFE practice and as I've found out, your going to fail. But you learn from those failures and your that much better next time you open a set.
Mystery and Style didn't become successes because they suddenly had a revolutionary thought that made them realize all they're mistakes and that they were suddenly enlightened on how to open and more importantly close, they fucking worked through depression and success to be on top of their game. Just like any pro in anything from poker to sport, they got where they are from practice!
So go out and do that thing that you've been holding back on, open that set, make that move, close that set, whatever it is get out there and GAME!

"You will never know how fantastic it is to be on top of the higest mountain unless you have been in the deepest valley"
You can't appreciate success unless you know how failure feels. Keep on gaming guys. |
