Bah! I'm getting sick of "hey, how are you doing? Fine, how about you? okay. well gotta go bye!"
same routine all the time.
I get so many 30 second conversations everyday. what can I do to actually make this interesting.
I usually get asked first "Hey, how are you doing?"
I want to make a interesting 30 second conversation that sparks positive emotions, and at the same time show people that I'm different in a positive way.
What types of things can I do here, what categories of interesting conversations would work here?
I've been thinking, but I'm getting a brain freeze. |

| What I do is say the complete opposite of what you would normally say...for instance, one time this Wal-Greens cashier told me after handing me my receipt to "have a nice day." Like normal I was going to say "you too" but I asked myself, how could I make this conversation a bit instesting? so I said "Thanks but I hope you don't!" Of course I made it playful so she wouldn't take it as an insult...and after that we chatted a bit (I wasn't trying to hit on her since she was old.) I wouldn't really recommend it to do it all the time but just a few times like negs and shit like that... |

HB - "How are you?"
ME - "Fine, how about you?"
HB - "I'm good"
ME - Of course you are, you're talking to me
Thats how I would go about it, or something along those lines. You could even, instead of asking "How are you", say:
ME - "I'm not even gonna ask how you are"
HB - "Why"
ME - "Because you're doing great, cos you're with me"
Build yourself up, she'll laugh along, Ice broken. |

I like that one, very good way to start a C&F conversation.
HB:"Have a nice day"
ME:"Don't tell me what to do! Geez, are you always like this?" |

Basicly what interrests is anything that is out of the ordinary.
U can do this by adding C&F to the "routine" of exchanging greetings. Verry nicely demonstrated by the above posters.
But basicly any responce that isnt anticipated will create interest, u can neg "U know ur nose wobbles when u talk ? u look like a cute little bunny.", u can say " just had the crasyest day" and start in a DHV story ... The possibilities are endless rly.
Be creative and never react the way ppl expect u to.

good suggestions guys
you can also try something that works for me every time
you ask the girl: so how are you?
then as she starts to answer the question: "i'm fine" or she tells you how she is been doing you cut her off in the middle with "well great it doesn't interest me" you should say it loudly, it's always funny and sets a good mood for the conversation and you can always smile to let her understand it was jokingly |

That is pretty funny... the smile is key... Also why not just be interested instead of interesting. Check out some David X |
