How did I respond to her? Could I have responded with a better rebuttal? Does she really have this "other slice"? Finally, if the girl you're texting calls on you for being a PUA, picking her up, etc., what do you do from there?

I wouldn't have negged her twice in a row, its too much. The first time its funny banter, wait awhile before negging again, especially on the exact same topic (her eyelashes).

I also don't think she was calling you on being a PUA, I think she was calling you for hitting on her but just insulting her instead.

a neg is a qualifier that shows that she doesn't live up to your standards (false disqualifier), usually they come off like compliments, teasing a girl can be fun, but there is no top secret physchology loophole where girls are attracted to being insulted unless they have experienced previous abuse in their lives and want to re-live the trauma through relationships, keep that in mind when you are ''negging'' insults and breaking rapport too much is more likely to get you blown out then laid, there should be pushing and pulling, not just pushing, and not just pulling

probably, or better yet, could have just not got yourself in this situation to begin with probably, most girls can get laid any time they want, it's not hard for them, even for unattractive girls, and if you're interested in this one, you're probably not the only one, that's why you should be regularily going out and meeting women... so you don't care, and when this is a girls ammo, you can fight fire with fire by having other options of your own

I eventually learned that the whole negging/sarcastic banter thing will eventually bite you in the butt...ESPECIALLY over text. You'll make one wrong comment, just as a joke, but she'll take offense to it and think you are mean. Then she gives you attitude and you're having to try to explain that you were just kidding and spend all this time trying to get on her good side again. It's just not worth it. Some people don't get sarcasm or teasing and are very uptight.

I agree with being too sarcastic etc. I do it all the time and sometimes it comes off wrong. And yes you do spend the next while trying to explain you were only joking. This kinda borders on apologizing too so it's best to try avoid the sarcasm until you are face to face or at least on the phone where the context and way you say it can be taken better.

I actually don't think she was that offended but more just giving some of her own back. Some girls are actually quick witted (despite us guys thinking we are always the funny ones) I think she just has a good scene of humour and can dish it as much as she takes it. If she wasn't interested she wouldn't have said what she did re other girls. She was basically giving you the opportunity to correct what you said or make a joke about it. In other words if she was offended she was giving you another chance..
