To be honest i failed awfully. But as it has been said, the field is where you WILL learn and today i did. When i was at scorpion bar i could see how "style" or "Mystery" could have sapped up all the women i desired. Here's how it went down:
8 Set: 4 women, 4 men. I did not even have the balls to apporach because i was shy but saw an invitation from what became my secondary target. (Primary (HB8.1) target had a husband) The secondary target (BI- 6.5) smiled at me from the other end of the bar. (Instead of using that as an IOI i chickened out) Furthermore, the 8 set turned to a 4 set in which had i either entered at that point or stayed from when it was an 8 set may have gotten me some positive results.
2 Set: 2 women: Target is HB8. Two set use proximity alert. HB8 uses Blatant (Ultra proximity alert: She was so close she invaded my personal space) proximity alert. Startled by her close proximity, i knew i had to open her, but instead i chickened out... sort of. Behind me there about 5 canvas paintings on the brick wall and she is interested in one. I turned around and saw one i liked and noticed she was into the same one i was into, so i went and asked her which one she liked. She pointed to the one with the naked girl looking at you (the same painting i liked) She went on to say that it was for her hallway. Feeling a tinge of confidence i rose up to explain why the one she chose would be better and started off great in saying that it was something that was eye capturing, then killed it by over explaining. From there, the 2 set becomes a 4 set, then an 7 set broken up (they get together and break apart because some of them are couples) i learn that the obstacle from the two set has a bf. (He and another couple join the group) and then An unbelievable HB8.8 arrives with a friend (this completes the 7 set) I am quiet for the most part because the group constantly would get together and dissipate (Mainly because one of the non-coupled guys and HB8.8 were preferorming at the south west corner of the bar) HB.8.8 moved up to HB9 status when i learned she could sing. Anyway, HB8 sits next to me after all the singing (as if she actually gave me a second chance.) (believe it or not) I ask what is that shes eating (I knew it was guacamole but at this point all im doing is trying to open her) She says "its guacamole". "Oh," i say, "i couldnt tell what it was" i forget what her exact response was, but it was to the degree of her saying how could i not know. I auto responded with a empathic "Well i didnt know" "i smiled and then said,"well now i do" She gave a half smile said something in response that affirmed that (i dont remember what she said) and got up and left to go be with her group. Immediately i saw how my tonality in telling her "Well i didnt know" killed it, because instead of seeing her question positively or as a possible IOI i simply rejected it all together trying to defend myself. Soon after, i left, 3 tacos, rice and beans, a jack and coke and no type of close later.
Points to bring up:
I can obviously see that i have a porblem approaching yet i can see that even when i half try everything really can work.
Just by observation alone i was able to detect what the women i was interested in about and whether or not they were single or taken.
Scorpion is a good bar to go to for practice (or hanging out). This was sunday night and there were attractive women there. I later learned that thursday is their big night from the bartender. He told me it gets so packed that you cant even move. Good to know i suppose. |
