| Offline | | New to MPUA Forum | Joined: Sat Mar 03, 2007 12:01 am Posts: 3 | | i'm thinking about getting into sales, and i can't help but notice the similarities between sarging and sales techniques. i'm reading this book right now called "how to master the art of selling" and whenever i think about approaching a prospect, i get that same "jittery" feeling that i do when approaching women. i'm very new to both sales and sarging, but my question is: can they compliment eachother?
in other words. if i get good at sarging, can i get better at sales, and vice versa.
pretty random, i know.

Im in sales and i also sarge. I look at the sale as im in control. It doesnt matter what there response is im in control of my energy and i will guide the conversation in the way that i choose. remember in sales its like being a magician, the magician shows the audience what they want to see...shows them the seemingly empty hat then redirects them and while they are focused eslewhere hes free to release the rabbit. _________________ There's no such thing as failure, only results.
