After an exciting time in Orlando we headed back towards south florida since I had to work from 6 pm till 9 pm. On the way back we were exhausted from 3 full days of non stop sarging but I still opened this 3 set at a rest stop talking about how the world hates ketchup packets and prefers the type of ketchup you get to pump. Rye went over and had a few laughs with them and then we were back on the road.
This being St. Patrick's day we headed to an Irish pub I used to work at. There was a crazy line to get in but just as Rye and I arrived the owner saw us, came out and dragged us in announcing, "They are with me" to everyone. AWESOME! Instant social proof
After getting a free round of shots and buying a round of beers Rye and I chatted with the owner and her boyfriend for awhile and made it a point to be very animated and loud about how much fun we were having. After the owner got busy we stood in the middle of the outside area and started telling each other canned openers just to make it look like we were having a fantastic time (we really were). We told each other this was just going to be our unwinding night, no sarging, YEAH RIGHT!
We made our way inside and the guitar player shouted out my name and asked how I was, I opened this two set near him with my target texting on her phone. I pulled out mine and we chatted about the differences between the phones and I said something to the effect of "Are you that bored that you are texting? The party is right in front of you!" I was never really able to steal her away from her texts so while Rye was handling the obstacle I decided to open another set, and boy am I glad I did...
This one girl was having trouble getting through the crowd so I got in front of her and led her through it. When we got to where her sister was we started chatting and laughing about crowd surfing. I started running DHV spikes on my target HB 8.5 but I made the mistake of paying way too much attention to her. At that moment Rye came in so I shifted my target to the other girl HB 7 which worked out perfectly since I had been ignoring her. I gave Rye an accomplishment intro and told the HB 8.5 that she just had to hear the story about __________ and that Rye is the best storyteller etc etc. We'll later learn that she has a boyfriend but does that get in Rye's way? Hell no! Rye IS the boyfriend destroyer! More on that in a second though....
So I'm talking with the HB 7 still and it turns out that she keeps texting this guy she likes but he doesn't want to come to the bar. I use some NLP that Rye had taught me and I make the sweeping gesture with my arms and tell her to FORGET about him, He's NO FUN, and that she came out to HAVE FUN (Gesture to self). I'm escalating kino hardcore on this girl, brushing her shoulder, putting my arm around her, it was going very very well. I admit sometime my kino is a little forced but it was excellent practice.
After a few more DHV spikes I ask her her name. She says, "I'll tell you after we make out" and there was my first post-afc Kclose! We made out for a few seconds and then Rye isolated her sister away for me, what a fucking awesome wing that man is. I used my hat as a lock in prop and put it on HB 7's head. She pulled it way down because she said she felt like everyone was looking at her. I explained that it was a bar, everyone was just jealous, and that we were here to HAVE FUN (more NLP). We spent the next 10 minutes or so making out. At some point she told me her name, and I took her phone and put my name in is Robert Hottie (Heh) and texted myself so I would have her number.
I was trying to bounce her to another bar up the street but I just wasn't forceful enough. We had the comfort and the sister was down but it just never happened. My target was wearing a four leaf clover necklace that I said was perfect for the night, she said she just "wanted to get lucky!" It was so on!
Two external interrupts made their way into my set and I handled them both with such skill that I think I saw Rye wipe away a tear of pride. The first was some guy that I AMOG'ed by telling him how awesome his shirt was, and how his hair was cool and then I took off my hat and showed everyone mine. After that the target turned back to me and he disappeared.
The second interrupt was her friend from work. He was dressed in costume and I asked him where his hat comes from, the story behind it. He didn't know and I said something like, "Oh... We'll it's still cool, too bad you don't know the history. Nice kilt though!" and he was blown out as well.
By now the target had, had a bit to drink and the sister was going to take her home. The mistake we made was that we really needed to bounce them but lessons learned right?
I called the HB 7 on Tuesday (the next day) and left a great phone message, something to the effect of "I hope you've recovered from your St. Patty's Day Extravaganza, I'm heading out to all stars on Wed for karaoke it's always a TON of fun, You should tag along" but I never heard back. To be honest I expected her to flake since we went from meeting to making out in about 10 minutes (not to mention the fact she was drinking), but I'm going to wait till Saturday then give her another call with an invite to something else and see if she responds. If not I'll next her ass and as everyone says there are always more HB's in the sea!
As for Rye, I don't want to give too much away in case he want to write his own FR, but I'll just say he had his target eating out of his hands. She had completely forgotten about her boyfriend and Rye built this frame about how sleeping with him would actually be good for her relationship with her boyfriend. She threw him a few shit tests that he handled like a pro and if anything the only reason he didn't fclose was my fault in that I didn't occupy my target and stop her from continuing to drink.
