Hey guys (and gals, I've seen a few lurking around here!),
I'm rubiks, good to meet you all - I'm 23 and currently reside in the Fair Lawn/Paramus, NJ area. Chose the name because it's a great metaphor for pickup, and meeting people in general - everyone is a unique and beautiful snowflake, but if you apply the right algorithms, anyone can be figured out. You just need to take the time to learn when to do what, and to what extent... which is why I'm here.
My story is probably similar to that of the rest of you - I read "The Game" after getting out of a 3yr LTLDR (long-term, long distance, that really just fell into my lap) and realizing that that "me" wouldn't succeed with women - a geeky, quiet shut-in too shy to strike up conversation with strangers, much less pretty girls. So about two months ago, I embarked on this quest to change my life, my attitude, and with practice, my luck with women!
In terms of hobbies, I've dabbled in just about everything, but some are so nerdy that they'll probably DLV me. Right now, the "cool" ones are playing paintball, writing on and off, and learning to play the guitar (and no, I'm not going to be the "guitar guy" at the party). I also have an urge to get into rock climbing (once I'm in better shape).
To all the PUAs out there - props to you guys. I'm just starting out but I already realize how much time and dedication you've put into the craft. I know I'm going to learn a lot from you guys, and I hope that one day, I'll be able to provide a bit of insight, to give back to the community that I know will do a whole lot for me. |
