Great video there Faust23. I've had a back injury or 2 and tight muscles that yoga has helped with. My parents were very controlling and a lot of my muscle memory resulted in me being tense all the time (waiting for the next strike) til I took a college class in yoga. It's definitely one of the lowest impact forms of exercise (compared to running where your legs pound the ground resulting in shin splints and the like). As far as weight loss, I find that I break a sweat after a good yoga session combined with other exercise as well.

Yes, of course yoga is an ideal exercise for the weight loss and fitness improvement.

The best way to lose weight is by changing your diet and exercise. Yoga helps, but I guarentee you that wrestling or any type of grappling is the "best" way to lose weight and here is why

It's a form of HIIT which is the fastest, hardest, but most effective way to lose weight.

I lost 22 pounds in 1 1/2 months by taking out simple carbs(anything with white flour, etc.. so only protein and complex carbs like veggies and hardy grains were in my diet.

I also only did wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for this period.

If you arent hardcore and want to do as little physical activity as possible, take yoga.

Hello. Absolutely yoga is good and helpful for body and it makes the body active and healthy.But some people including me not able to do yoga so i use health supplements and Shakeology for fitness.

Based on what I've seen, yoga is excellent in terms of fitness and is essential if your back makes you suffer. But don't expect to lose weight thanks to yoga. Better go for bicycle or running for sure.
