I thought about this as an opinion opener and I wonder what more experience pick up artists think (I'm an AFC who is trying to learn the skill.) Here's my opener.

"Hey guys, my friends are waiting over there, but I need your opinion on something. A lady friend of mine just emailed me because she just found out that a guy she has been dating sleeps with a teddy bear. She can't decide if that's creepy or sentimental in a cute way. She really thinks highly of my opinion, so I'd like to hear a few other peoples views on it before I get back to her."

So what's the verdict guys? Should I give it a try

I got called out on using that a month ago. But sure go ahead and try it.

I see no problem with it. But I would leave off the last line and instead just say "what do you guys think?"
