Ok I know this is normally meant for normal field reports but I figure it could be online ones too.

This is mainly a comparison between normal/AFC "Hello" openers and the "Perfect Internet Game. WOAH." opener.

I wished I had known POF would only keep email for so long because I had planning on giving accurate statistics but most of this will have to be from memory.

I sent out a fairly equal amount of normal/AFC openers and the "Perfect Internet Game. WOAH." opener.

Stats

Perfect Internet Game. WOAH.: (100% sticking to the script)

What I found was this is a HUGE opener. I used the subject "It's over" and nearly ever email was read. The smiley at the bottom really helped get the point across that I wasn't a weirdo just a funny guy. While the script sounds good on face I found that going past step 3 tended to freak the girls out. Only 3 of the 60+ I sent this opener to made it all the way through the script and of those only one number closed. Of the return emails 50% were "Hehe thats funny" and 50% played along.

Special note, two girls replied "One word, freak!" and "What kind of sicko are you?". The "One word, freak!" girl I refuse to let get away with so I replied back "And we divorced because of your constant name calling and fling with the pool boy, Pablo, remember?" She then started to play along and replied something about the pool girl Isabella. In the end she stopped replying. The other one I just told her I was looking for someone with the same sense of humor as myself and clearly she wasn't her. She gave me a follow apology and I left it at that.

Over all I have number closed 4 (Still working 3 of the 4), and have 4 more on the table that I am working.

Now mind you my internet/text/chat/IM game is very weak. I have a HUGE phone game so take that into consideration when you are reading this.

So that's my internet field report.

Dude. This post is absolutely awesome. I would love to see more posts like this which compare different routines/strategies. They're not too hard to get around to but very informative.

I'll be posting my own stats on here regarding this opener, as, my god, it has opened DOORS!!! My inbox was empty and outbox for the most part, but I customized the opener slightly to each HB profile and WHAM, so far 70% success rate.

INFACT.. its sometimes even a great save... there was on HB8 that I originally went all AFC with some creativity and after one reply she stopped contact. I thought I blew it because I asked too many questions (though I'm finding sometimes the more the questions the better, but dont over do it 6-7 MAX) and she didn't want to reply. So i sent her a short message saying she is blowing it and that she lost 6 points for not replying soon enough. And that at -25 points i stop talking to the girl... STILL no reply. Thats when I read about this opener and thought I would apply it to this situation.

Since i thought I had blown it already I didn't give a fuck that it had been only 24 hours since the second email in a row, i sent a THIRD... thats pushing the usually needy guy vibe. Fuck it, its a learning experience right?

Man that was the best move EVER... she replied back to that, gave me some shit about she tried to IM me but I didn't respond (I didn't see any IM's) and that I only gave her 24 hours to respond to the '6 point' email, then sighed that it was over. All the while playing along. I was SHOCKED!

So I've only been at this a day and its working so great, my box is flooded with replies, all at different stages (keeping track is starting to be a chore now, i dont want to send any more out until i lose some of these ones). Once some time has passed I'll post more results on the longer term of this wonderful wonderful wonderful opener!
