Here's what I have done, before I post my question.
Read the Game by Neil Strauss
Watched the Mystery Method video.
Have also watched PUA videos on Youtube.
I've being approaching and opening for about 4 months now, once a week and some times twice... I've had some successes, but on occasions, I don't see to be able to continue the conversation. Any suggestions, comments? |

Have a plan, going in, on what routines you can run. I am a type-A personality, and like to make a flowchart of my routines.
i pick one or two openers that i'm going to use, and then plan how i'm going to transition in to my next routine. Then I find a way to link at least three routines together.
next, practice out loud in your home, over and over. By doing this, you'll be able to jump in and out of your routines in the field while letting the convo go where it wants. this way, you can extend your routiens for several minutes, and get past the social hookpoint and you'll be able to freestyle it from there.
in short. pick some routines that you can do after your opener, and just practice them so that you can execute
also
try to approach more than once or twice a week if you can. Some of the best PUAs have said that they've done 100 approaches in a day. Now that's extreme, but the more the better. Some of the best learning comes from trying the same thing on several people consecutively. that's hard to do if you only approach a few times a week.
