At a party last week, noticed target and obstacle immediately. Started chatting /w them a little bit, but never got their names. I overhear obstacle introducing herself and target to another group of people, I remeber target's name but forget obstacle.
I then say to them
Me: (to obstacle): So, I don't believe I ever got your names? I'm cleaner
obstacle: Oh hi, im XXX
target (to me): What's your name? cleaner?
Me: Yep, and you're Amber right?
target (puzzled look on face): Wait, how did you know that?
Me: I don't know...lucky guess.
*target stares at me like something is up*
Me: Hey, it's a pretty common name after all *smirk*
Is this good? Is the fact that her name is actually pretty uncommon make this work better or worse? Thanks for the replies. |

I think it might work abot 60% of the time. Seeing how you frist have to over hear the name correctly. Then i would ask the targets name and tell the obstical her name. Not quiet a neg but still can be construde as to lowering target more below you. Why do you do this is because one, it brakes into dhv of yourself and then have her selling her self to more to you later. Try not to be to cocky/funny with this one.

| umm...I wouldn't do this. It gives them the info that you're an easedropper or a stalker. |
