New Opener (Not Fully Field Tested)

So I got some inspiration the other day for what I think will turn out to be a good opener. Sunday was my birthday (I expect many "Happy Birthdays" from you guys) and one of my friends bought me a "Would You Rather" board game.

I used one of the more interesting questions last night to open a 5 set, just for shits and giggles and it opened amazingly well. I think this might be a good alteration on the opinion opener, especially if you have a story to follow up the "would you rather" question. Using this as an opener also creates a good opportunity for this to turn into a fun little game later on. Plenty of excellent neg opportunities as well.

The one I used: "Would you rather have the hiccups two days out of every week OR that burnt tongue feeling all the time?"

It sparked debate in the group and allowed me to lock in and then stack forward in my routine. NUMBER CLOSE!

I'm going to use the next couple weeks to field test the shit out of this idea, so I'll let you guys know what I come up with.

What do you think about this?

I think that opener is really good, and you created it, very nice job my friend. Field testing this opener is key because you will get varying answers from a lot of sources. ALso happy belated birthday.

This seems like a really tight opener. It's a way to do the opinion openers in a way that those who found out about them through the TV show probably wouldn't pick up on.

I like it! But I am curious if it would work better with a larger group (as in your case) rather than a two-set. However, I think it may be a good place to go AFTER another opener with a two set.

I actually used one similar to the "Hot Guy = Bad Sex OR Ugly Guy - Great Sex" last night and it worked really well. Either answer is an excellent neg op. I almost got thrown off when she asked which one I was, but I took it as a shit test and just replied, "wow, I've only been here two minutes and you're already wanting to know how I am in bed. You need to slow down honey. At least take me out to dinner first. Smile

I didn't use it as an opener last night, but threaded it into the convo which almost worked better. As I suspected, it turned into a little game for a few minutes, then I switched threads and continued the convo. As it is right now, it seems a little too brazen for an opener. I mean, who would really ask that right out of the hole? I need to refine it a little bit to get it to work well as an opener.

Right now though, it seems to be pretty good at lowering defenses, especially if you are negging occasionally.

I actually heard a group of girls arguing over which accent is the sexiest. You could do a would you rather date a guy with an English or Australian accent, and figure out a funny reason why you would be asking it.

How much is 25 stone? I'm guessing a lot. I would still think having no thumbs would suck more.
