Ok here is something i've been playing around with in my head, I havnt tested it yet.
You see a HB walking past you...
You: excuse me but do you know what time it is?
Hb: sure! it's (insert random time)
You: Nope im sorry but your wrong.
Hb: No it's (insert time)
you: See as long as you live your life by that this (grab watch or phone hand start kino), you'll always be a slave to it.
Hb: ( something along the lines as "well how do you see it"
you: Well ok, for example, ask me what time it is.
hb: ok...what time is it.
You : now
hb: what?
you: its not yesterday, or 10 minutes ago...and its not tomorrow or an hour from now... It's just now. When you learn that you'll be able to really live life.
hb: smiles*
you: see when you take each breath likes its your last, you really start appreciating everyone of them.
then onto name exchange and such...i've got my own ways but everyone is different.
This is what i've been working on, might field test it tomorrow...

go try it, but i remember when i was stupid and went to the mall any me and my friends would have competitions of who could talk to most girls, my friend would always ask for the time and either they already knew, said the time and kept walking, or even if they stopped it was stupid
i dont like time openers but try it and see what happens |

This one is tough to use effectively.It can be labeled as a "Life Lesson opener".
I used one similar,such as "You shouldn't talk on cell phones while driving" when I saw a girl in a parking lot about to enter the car texting.
It was executed perfectly,but then she went "What are you,my mother?"
Of course,I went "I'm sure she wouldn't approve of that either".
"Fuck off".
(I laughed about it on the way home).
Careful with this one man.You need to be REAL congruent(Keep alpha composure),or you'll blow it.
Stick with regular openers.It'll save a lot of time,and moral confusion. |

I appreciate the feed back, i mean i can defiantley get girls with the normal openers...i just thought that id try something a little more challenging and fun. Keep me on my toes you know. I'm still gona give this one a shot though, but hey if it doesn't work...at least I tried it  |

I had to re-read that a few times. Its deep but random  . Could be used later to DHV in a time related story.

Yeah I'm sure a girl would love to get lectured when she's doing you a favor by telling you the time.
That's such a corny opener that it would be funny watching you get shut down. You're going to creep them out. The only way they're going to play along is if they feel sorry for you. |

| Well, I number pulled a hb 9 with it today...and had her eating out of my hand. She was unsure of me at first kinda but I just kept neggin with comments like Naive and such. |

I'm sure it would work on occasions, but low opening rate, imo.
Personally I tend to only use openers that have atleast 6-70% opening rate. unless testing of course. nice thought thou. |

I think a better method is to tell her: No, your time is wrong. Then show her your watch's time. Then tell her why she has a spoilt watch. You can neg her from there. |

Yea that could work too. When it comes down to it though, everyone has to perfect their own game. So if that idea about showing her your watch came from mine, then that was what it was intended for. Put new ideas out there.
I mean there is just so many times you can open with "Let me get you're opinion on something, who lies more men or women?"
Canned material is good, but things seem more natural if your using something that you invented....or at least it does to me.
Thats not to say I dont use canned material. After you get it down, it becomes natural. |
