New Lounge/club Opener

I dont have any club openers so I made one up last night-she laughed.
I showed her a text message on my blackberry that said "u were delicious!"

I think just about any positive text about you could work as long as its coming from a girl. I told her it was from this 6ft asian model I dated (true) but stopped seeing cause she was too jealous. I told her her b'day was coming up but wasnt sure if I should get her something. I then asked her opinion...

Unfortunately, I stalled shortly thereafter but it worked for the opener.

Im not too sure about this as an opener, especially when you're telling her its an ex, whom you're conveying is attractive. One thing you dont do in early stages or at all if you can, is to mention past relationships. The text message opening is good, but as you went on to tell her Ex, Model, dumped her due to jealousy that girl rightfully ran off.

Yeah cool opener but you need to back it up for the next few mins with other cool stuff otherwise liek you said, you will crash and burn dude.

i think you played it right. you showed her that eh this hot girl wanted you and you got rid of her.

maybe as long as it doesn't seem like you are trying to hard to brag it can work.

seems to have worked for you. personally i'd of left out the part she was a model. if i had a picture of her on my black berry.

i'd a say. my ex is a riot to bad she was to jealous for my taste. then i'd show a pic somehow and say. too bad you'd think i'd be the one to be jealous. or something to that effect. why say she's a model when you just prove it.

I'd rather use a canned opener. It's already tested a bunch
of times. Anyway situational openers are fantastic for me
but you need to have a bit of imagination for it...

By the way I agree that you need to back up the opener
'cause you'll get the "Why are you asking" answer. Whatever
just don't buy into her frame...
