To try and keep this short, met a girl over a year ago and went out with her a couple times. When dropping her off the second time, she basically friend zoned me saying she wasn't attracted to me. I basically just didn't contact her after that... (I can't honestly say I "nexted" her or whatever, I was in kind of a bad place at the time already and that rejection didn't help. I didn't do much of anything for a few months after.)
So fast forward a bit... I ran into her once or twice around town and just said a quick hi. The first time she didn't remember me right away, then the second and third times she did and said hi but I didn't have time to stop and talk.
Finally a few months ago we ran into each other at a singles party, she said hi but was talking to another guy so I didn't stick around. At the end of the night saw her sitting on a couch alone so stopped to talk to her and catch up a bit... after a couple minutes I had to get going but she wanted to make sure I still had her number.
The next day she texted me asking how my plans were going (since we had talked about it.) I started to think maybe I'd see if she wanted to get together but I was really busy for a few weeks. In the end she texted me again just to ask how I was doing, and I responded with why don't we get together.
Really wasn't even thinking of gaming her, I'm in a better place now and was kinda thinking if that works out fine but if not I get another cute female friend.
Anyway, at the end of the first "get together" she leans over and gives me a quick kiss on the lips. (You know, the closed lip kind.)
So I ask her out again for the next week, and again we have a good time together and we're in her car and she leans over and gives me a real kiss this time. Unfortunately we got interrupted as someone pulled up behind us (she was dropping me off at my car) and wanted to get through.
Now... I say dumb things sometimes, and I'm wondering if I stuck my foot in my mouth because I said something like "Apparently I should have cleaned my apartment so I could invite you back..."
Or maybe I had bad breath or something, I don't know because the next morning I text her:
Me 7am: You've gotta stop keeping me out late on school nights

Her 6pm: I could say the same about you!
Me: I don't think that's true... :p
Me (45 minutes later:) Hmm... maybe we should try a non-school night?
Her: That would be a better idea
Me: Are you free Saturday?
Her (half hour later:) No, sorry
Me (one hour later:) See, this is why you keep me out late on school nights

Her (half hour later:) My weekends fill up fast, you have to book at least a week ahead of time
Me: (half hour later:) A whole week? Not sure I can handle that... So... Next Friday?
That was last night, and she hasn't replied yet...
So maybe she just doesn't text much from work, but with all the other delays I'm worried she's starting to flake a bit. I was kinda trying to get her to suggest a weekend date with the first text... maybe I should have just been more patient?
Anyway, is there a next step here? I actually have conflicting plans that Friday anyway, I just wasn't looking at my calendar... :/
