Hi everyone -- I write for a suburban daily outside Detroit and am looking for field stories from seasoned, or at least semi-seasoned PUAs. I did post in the "Introduction" section, but some of the guys recommended I also mention my mission here. Anybody looking for public bragging ops?
I'd like to hear your back stories. How did you get into this? What strategies have you implemented? Are you getting different reactions from women then before implementing ? Successes? Failures? short- and long- term goals? What, overall, have you learned here? Any life lessons or ? Tips for other guys out there...?

The role of chooser has always been at the hands of the woman. I'm 38, recently divorced, and married the 4th woman I found who'd have me. I hedged on her. Of my friends from college, they're all pretty much in the same boat. Miserable marriages. Women they "hedged" on.

Being recently divorced, I went out to bars and just got my ass handed to me. I had no "game" at all. I couldn't get the time of day from women. I was a disaster, even though I had EVERYTHING going for me. I'm hot. I make TONS of money. I drive a chick-magnet of a car. Yet, I was still a disaster with women.

Pick up changes that. No longer does a guy have to take the first woman who'll have him or dump her and be alone. The art of pick-up allows the man to dump the woman and be with other women immediately, as opposed to being miseralble and heart broken...at least to an extent.

Pick-up has changed my entire life over the last 90 days. I don't even recognize myself anymore. I can walk into any bar in town (DFW metroplex) and I'd say 85% of the time I can be kissing a woman I've never met on the lips before closing time.

The real problem is, pick-up is a skill and if you don't practice it constantly, that skill will evaporate quickly. This forces the pick-up artist into a real catch 22 situation. If you decide to "hedge" on a woman and see her exclusively, if and when she dumps you for another guy, with no warning signs at all, you're pretty much screwed because, unless you cheated on her constantly, your pick-up skills will be gone. You'll be left heart broken and miserable and your skills to repalce her are gone. On the flip side, if you keep your pick-up skills in tune, the women you meet will push for exclusitivity eventually and you have to leave them. Being good at pick-up pretty much means you are forced into a series of shallow and hollow relationships and one night lays.

The problem for me is, after learning pick-up, I don't think I can ever trust another woman again. 100% of their sexual decision making is based on instinct. Eventually, the right guy WILL come along and say and do the right things and she'll cheat in an instant with no remorse. Of the 4 women I found who'd have me, I KNOW that 2 of them cheated on me and wouldn't be surprised to learn that all 4 of them did. Women cheat. Period. End of story. With guys, our word is bond. With women, it's different. They follow their instincts and rationalize later.

Meth has more PUA experience. This is how I'm thinking 90 days into it. Hopefully, I'll see things differently in another 90 days. I WISH I could trust women, but right now, I just can't.

It is gonna be difficult for you to find anyone who wants to share too much of their story... Too much is known already and people are getting afraid. I think that you will find that people only will tell you what has already been exposed.

But if you leave all the technical stuff out of it it may be possible...
