To start, I am just getting into this whole PUA thing. I am almost done reading "The Game" and honestly haven't been able to put it down since I started. I'm a 23 year old college student about to graduate and am definitely an AFC. I have a decent amount of friends that are girls and can be pretty good when I meet their friends (from work, school, etc...) What I cannot do is approach random girls, a problem that seems all too common. But yea, just wanted to give a short introduction.
Anyway, the waitress story from tonight.... So my buddy and I went to a restaurant tonight and got the waitress we always hope for when we go...a HB9 (she's a 10 in my book...but probably a 9 to most others). She takes our orders and of course, I feel intimidated. Then my buddy mentions after about ten minutes that she had put her hair down (it was in a pony tail at first). Since I've been reading the book and message boards, I thought this might a good opportunity just to get some practice.
ME - "Can I ask you a question"
HER - *Walks around to my side of the table and says* "Sure"
ME - "My buddy and I were debating...did you have your hair down all night?"
HER - *Smiles and laughs* "haha, no actually I just put it down"
MY BUDDY - "haha, looks like you owe me a hundred bucks."
HER - *Somewhat shocked* "You bet 100 dollars on that?"
ME - *laughed* then said "Well I just got a job for next year" which is true actually
I know that's somewhat of a typical "having a debate" opener...but the fucked up thing is that she changed her hair 4 more times after I said that. Unfortunately for me, I didn't get a great opportunity to respond to them...kind of blew it there.
What I'm thinking (or maybe hoping) is that every time she switched her hair around, she thought of me and the opener. I'm gonna go back next week and see if I can further things, maybe even number# (that'd be the ultimate goal).
Anyone have any thoughts/critiques on the situation or advice for the next time we go back? |
