Hi, everyone. So, my roommates and I have been watching the Pick Up Artist religiously since it first started this season, and I must say I'm intrigued. I'm a psychology major and so much of this stuff is straight from my social psychology textbooks, so I have no doubt that it works.I'm single, and really looking to get out and meet new women, so having a framework to work from would be so helpful.I love going out and meeting new people and am not shy, per se. However, I lack a lot of confidence and can rarely get up the guts to approach women that I'm sexually interested in or would want to pursue a relationship with. I basically get stuck in friendship mode everytime. New friends are nice, but there are some things friends just can't do for you, lol.
The only issue (I think), is that I'm a gay woman. It seems like the whole venusian arts thing is geared towards men looking for women, so I'm not sure how it would translate over for queer women. Lesbians are women, too! But there's no denying that it's different with gay women( or is it?). I'm not sure if you guys have had a question like this before, so I'm just looking for some guidance and I want to see if I can apply this method to my own search for companionship, and if you know of any resources, message boards, etc. that would help me.
