Recently, while reading through a few posts on here, i clicked a link on the bottom of a members signature and i thought it may be seen more as a post.

It took me to a video called 'The Great Porn Experiment' watch it asap, its some guy presenting at tedx talks and he basically explains how porn creates social anxiety, ruins your boner, and generally destroys your brain.
Its only 16 minutes and it may just change your life, take it easy.

Officialpoypoy: i think you may be looking at this in the short term: ie i jack it improvement must be caused by this, but this guys talking about long yerm damage such as permanent ed in older men, this shpuld really only be a problem of porm is abused (which is plain wrong any how)

Bigtime: did you ever feel social anxiety before needing to approach women? and did you masturbate before feeling your need to be social? ypur problem may lie in the usage of porn give it a go at cutting porn out completely ypu may feel better of it doesnt work hell jack it and see a counsellor or use the advice on here

I haven't looked into the research behind it but everything he says I can in some way connect to my own life, I really believe this dude. I'm not sure if it is as much no porn as it is no fap, but w/o consciously trying I went a week w/o fapping until my dick wouldn't let me go to sleep (seriously). First week seemed great, studying loads now so kinda being anti-social and not noticing the impact on my social life.

The issue with porn (internet or not) is that whenever you watch it you gain falsehoods about sexual relationship and your expectations. A chemical called Dopamine is excreted in your brain during any form of sexual intercourse (yes, even beating off). When this chemical is released it creates a subconscious addiction. If you like to watch chicks tie up each other, you will (subconsciously) be forming a kink for this. Don't get me wrong.. if you genuinely enjoy that- pursue it. But when you masturbate to porn too much it can create a lack of sexual tension. If you go into a set or even a random conversation and your sex drive is low if has a coherent effect on your confidence.

Both are great videos. Your sex life, confidence, and focus will improve if you quit porn. Fapping once every 5-7 days also amplifies the psychological and physiological benefits.

I agree porn is bad for you.

I dont think watching porn kills anyones game, but I do agree that if you watch porn and masturbate it will kill your game and your motivation to do much of anything with women. When you climax you release all that sexual energy- which is needed for those interactions and is a part of a mans overall energy.

I watch porn a lot, but as of yesterday actually I decided to stop masturbating. I did it daily, despite the fact I have a girlfriend. She was complaining about not getting enough sex from me, we do it like 5 days a week. But DAMN even going one day so far I have boners all day.
