HEy what's up guys? My questions are about when/frequency of smiling.
I've read that an alpha trait is only smiling when you have something to smile about..in which case your smile acts as a reward.
I mean i'm not going to be conscious of every time i feel like smiling because that would just be stupid and i want to enjoy life, BUT.
Say on an approach at a party...should u approach WITH a teeth showing smile or a slight grin if any?
See a girl walking towards you ...smile or no?
I've read that and can feel that smiling is a sense of "wow i like you/need you/want you" and a definite sign of interest on YOUR part, which is why i'm confused on how "pua's" advise on going about it. If the goal is to have her show interest/attraction first, then i can't be smiling ear to ear showing her that she already has my interest right?
Basically...my question is with the inital approach in a club/girl walking towards you/opening up a girl in a classroom/mall/grocery store/warm approach...(you're introduced to a chick by a friend).
WHat do you guys think? thanks a lot for reading. |

| You don't want an ear to ear smile baring all your teeth. Unless your teeth are perfect, and that's a focal point to catch her attention. Otherwise, you want a slight smile. What I do is a slight confident grin with my mouth closed at first. Whether it's a girl in a club or a grocery store or departement store, gas station, wherever, doesn't matter. Once she returns the IOI, you give more of yourself. Start the convo, blah blah blah. |

Funny you asked. I was walking into the local Circuit City last weekend and made EC w/ a HB9 red head, just my style. I was trying so hard to have good posture, not look away first (something I've always struggled with) that I forgot to smile. It was a pretty intense moment that I could tell she was feeling as well. And that's when things went to shit. Instead of approaching straight away, I went about browsing for what I came for. The next time I saw her, she was nervously glancing my direction, talking on her phone and hovering near some of the store employees. In that moment I realized that because I didn't smile and approach immediately I had thrown off a major stalker vibe and had completely busted what probably would have been a decent opening.
Lesson learned: smile on approach, but like all things, in moderation. |

definitely smile, it puts yourself in a positive mood and makes you come off like a normal person, not a stalker(lol). its better to have emotions than be emotionless.
sometimes i forget to smile, and my attitude goes downhill from there. |

Omg, it really is the HARDEST thing in the world.
I've been trying to practice on my EC, and what happens is, I tend to catch the girl's attention, but then, thanks to old AFC reflexes, I just look away. It really is something you kinda have to practice at. |

| People always tell me I have the same expression on my face. That I look like I would kill someone/fuck someone up, that I'm in the army, you get the idea. The other day I had a girl tell me something to that affect and then say I have a gerber baby smile. WTF? lol |

On the EC, just feel the girl out. Don't give a lot w/o breaking a simle or doing somethng to force her to break her state, but don't give in and be a wuss either by looking away prematurely. |
