im from New York (upstate). I've read David D's book, saw some mystery videos, I"m starting to read "The Game".
My greatest challenge is my inner game. I continually put down myself and think that I'm not good at anything. I believe I don't deserve anything good and that I'm not confident. I tend to be wussy due to growing up with my sister and Mom without my dad around much. He was pretty wussy too... lol.
My sticking point is being self-assured and confident as I tend to slip back into this state of looking for a woman's approval too much.
I am currently seeing one girl who has no problem with me having sex with other women as long as I don't fall in love with them. I am also sleeping with 5 other women.
So, basically, I'm looking for suggestions on certain situations, and overall how to develop my inner game so I stop doubting myself and looking for the approval from women and just people in general.

Mystery says "fake it 'til you make it," implying that you can achieve Inner Game through Outer Game, and I disagree with him in this regard. It's like saying that wearing make-up often enough will make you genuinely beautiful. It makes no sense to me.
Your story is an anecdote that proves my point. Even though you possess the successes that many many PUAs strive for (having a girlfriend who's OK with you sleeping around with 5 FWBs), you still feel like you are missing a huge chunk of something, and you KNOW what you're missing: Inner Game.
I think you've made a very good decision in checking out Deangelo's material as a "newbie" because he is a big proponent of Inner Game. I started out with his teachings back in 2003. If you can get your hands on his Advanced Series, your mind will be blown and your world rocked.
