hey yall
about life in general..
im always nice to everybody and all the time
the thing is i dont get this niceness back
and im not asking for it
i feel like being mean to everyone right now, being mean means you are in control and stuff i think
is it good or bad
for instance! your boss, you have this stereotype boss in your head who is a real jerk right?
but he is a boss you know what i mean, he is better than you  you know what i mean ?
so is it okay to be mean? cuz i have learned to always be nice
but there are more things that are not true, for instance: one should never lie.. well what i have learned: being honest got me into a lot of trouble
is it okay to be mean ? i mean why are there so many mean people it must be some sort of evolutionary advantage right?
plz tell what you think, and if its okay
i will never be mean to my girlfriend though, just because i love her and stuff
but im gonna be mean to every other people in general
im just gonna be a real motherfucking jerk who is always taking cuz i have got enough of giving everything and getting nothing back |

You need balance.
You can still be a nice person, but not a pushover. Dont put up crap from people and they'll learn to not treat you like crap.
By the way, If you want to keep your job then you shouldnt be mean to your boss. Just suck it up and deal with it. |

I agree with Killians.
Dont be mean, thats not you. But at the same time do not be a bitch. If someone does something you dont like let them know. Let your feelings be known that that shit isnt going to fly around you. Thats what an alpha male does, and I think thats what you are trying to say here. Your sick of being a whipping boy and need to learn to be more alpha.

Yeah, I agree.
If you are a jerk to everyone all the time, it won't really help you out. By putting out so much negative energy, you'll only get negative energy in return.
Be positive and happy, BUT be assertive at the same time. Don't let people take advantage of you and don't be a pushover. It's about balance! |

It isn't about mean, it is about being strong, assertive and confident. Often people say they are "nice", but what they really are, is unconfident and so people see that in how they phrase things and present themselves, so they take advantage of it. Speaking from experience, I know what it's like.
This is the difference between being "strong" and being "hard". Strong is powerful and good, yet hard is rigid and inflexible, so although hard is also a form of being strong, it is often brittle and though it won't bend, it will break. Mean may break through a lot of things that nice was too soft to cut through, but there are many things that it will shatter upon, because it isn't flexible enough to work in any situation. |

I am in the same boat as well, I am too nice sometimes, and thats something i have been working on
so how can you be strong? how do you answer guys that try to put you down so that you show that you are the alpha male? |
