We planned on meeting last night after she didn't come to my party last weekend. We had a good lunch date last week.
Here is the text convo from last night.
Her:What are you doing tonight?
Me:I am drinking with my roommate, but he is about to leave. I am yet to hear of anything cool enough for me to leave my atp and risk frostbite and hypothermia. Lol. What about you?
Her:Dunno really yet...It is too cold.
Me:I would think about leaving if i was going to meet up with you because I did blow off a ton of cool people who are all a lot more hard core than you seem to be.
Her:Ouch. Well if you find something sweet, let me know.
Me: Are you hanging out by yourself? And we are def meeting up tonight?
Her:I am just watching a movie with my roomies right now, I do not think we are going out we will see
Me: I was just thinking about inviting you over to help me work on this handle or keg, but I doubt you would come over anyways.
Her: Ha ha no we might go out later, i will call you in a bit
Me: Ok. Yeah. Remember I cannot stay out too later because I have a mid morning practice.
Her: Dont be mad, I always have to get up for practice.
Me:I am not mad, just fyi for ya.
And she didnt call. I think it is becuase she wanted something amazing to do, but I didn't have anything. Also, I think that my false time constraint worked against me as an excuse for her to not call.
Thoughts? What should the next move be? She seemed pretty interested, so I do not want to just move on. |

I think your frame was too strong for this conversation. You over did it a bit. She was hinting the whole time that she wanted to do something with you. That and you saying, "I would think about leaving if i was going to meet up with you because I did blow off a ton of cool people who are all a lot more hard core than you seem to be." She said, "OUCH!?!" I think you put her down a little harshly there. She finally asked you to come over, regadless, and you should have in my opinion. I think that hurt your more than anything.
What should you do? Call her, hopefully she answers, then ask her out, have a good date in mind. Don't break frame, but don't come on so damn strong. She's not a HB10 or at least she doesn't think of herself that way, so no need to over do it. |

And I agree with you jsmooth about being a little strong, but why would I call her, she will call again, or at least text. |
