How to practice in a safe way

To learn the skills of PUA and reduce my AA I have tried to approach woman in my neighbourhoud a few times. Now I want to go one step further and use other openers and start using negs and DHV's. However my problem is that I don't want to get a bad reputation in my neigbourhood by having a couple to many crash/burn approaches. Of course I could go to another larger city at a busy shopping centre, but to me that is really only an option during the weekend because of my work.

So I hope that some of you have some usefull advice for me on how i can practice in midweeks without getting negative rep. at the place where i live.

There's not really much you can do without going out and practicing. I'd recommend just approaching people in your area but not actually going for any closes. That way you can't crash and burn. You can then get a feel for their buying temperature, and when you are very confident that you are getting better, you can go for a few number closes etc.

hey dude you can practice anywere, if you work in midweek try talking to people you know at work and people you dont know on your lunch break go to somewere near by were you can talk to people and just practice using openers, negs and interesting stories thsi will help loads especially if your new to it take it easy safe gaming

Most AFCs are take things too seriously with conversing.
It's a game, so play it in the field.
Whether it's at a superstore, the mall, bookstore, cafe, ANYWHERE that you feel you won't have anything to lose if you screw up.

Neighborhood gaming would indeed be a big impact on your life.

Thanks for the advice guys. Appreciate it. I have been trying to get more talkative with colleagues and with succes. Unfortunately these are people I usually already know to some degree. But I will change my strategy and try to get into conversations with people i do not yet know wherever I am.

Partly because when I stroll around in my city in the evening there are very few HB or even normal looking woman of about my age around. Most are >35 jr. or <15 jr. So far I have ignored them, but now I'll go and try to simply chat with the older people as well. Partly because untill now I have not really got the woman I approached interested in a conversation.

I would really suggest going out to another larger city, even if its only at the weekends make a day of it.... practice practice. Go with a wing if you can or maybe some1 who has luck with women.

If you are out of your area, you know that you will never probably see any of the people you open on ever again; unless you want to ofc Cool

What clancey said about not going for a close could also work during the week, open, practice a few techniques and say you have to go or something... preferably when you start the opener have something like "its gotta be quick though, i have to go to X in Xmins" (ofc word it in your own way and for the situation).

Have been a bit to busy last week (due to work and helping out a buddy) to practice a lot. But am now trying to get into conversations with random people and get them to become involved in the convo. Unfortunately I simply don't really know a lot to talk about in most situations. Most of the time I make some comment or ask something and then do not know how to go on with the convo. Which kinda creates a somewhat awkward situation. It is not even that i have a lot of AA to talk to strangers but I just don't seem to expand upon it after opening.

And that makes me start doubting myself and whether i have what it takes to become a true PUA. And not just some guy with canned material that when he runs out of that becomes silent.

This may seem lame but please give constructive advice.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, unless you're being completely obnoxious a couple of crashes and burns won't fuck up you're rep. I don't know what you're neighborhood is like, but I doubt that my neighbor's just sit around and talk about me all day. Plus if you're not being a jerk then a crash and burn is not really perceived as badly by the outside world. It's just a brief convo that didn't really go anywhere super special, no big whup. So keep the negs lighthearted and fun, go out there and fuck a neighbor!!! Very Happy

go somehwere about 20 minutes away maybe a nice city somewhere outside of yours there has got to be other party places other than your neighborhood
