The one with all the google +1, tweet, facebook boxes.

It is very intrusive and I can't read the beginnings of half the lines on most pages.

I deleted it with adBlock, you can download it for free

Having a quick look at the source code of the website it will depend on people's screen sizes as to whether it encroaches onto threads.

Basically, for most normal screens and resolutions it should sit nicely on the left hand side with a neat little margin but if for example you were to re-size your browser by making its width smaller you'd start to see it move over the posts as it's set to always be 20px from the left.

In sum, for most peeps it's chilling, for some it'll cover posts. (maybe on phone's/tablets? or small laptops?)

//BEWARE OF GEEKERY AHEAD//

If you were really worried about this (in terms of coding) you could change the z-index of the 'addthis_bar' (the white facebook/twitter thing) to be lower than the middle black section where posts are so that it would slide 'behind' it rather than in front and covering posts.

At the moment the background pattern is actually one image with the glowing central black box so you'd need to change this first:
1. set the swirly pattern to a repeated background image.
2. change 'contentmiddleframe' to just a black box with a yellow blurred drop shadow and left/right margins.
3. then assign differing z-index's to the 'contentmiddleframe' and to 'addthis_bar'.

Probably way more info than you actually need or care about, but in case you do.

I have adblock plus but that doesn't seem to fix it. I just zoomed in my webpage on firefox so everything is a bit smaller and the box no longer intrudes over the posts. Thanks for the replies.

click the adblock button (in google chrome) and select "block an ad on this site", then select the box.

I downloaded adblock (not adblock plus) from the chrome store, followed these directions and the box is finally gone in chrome. Thank you for your support.
