so heres the scoop. I have this HB7 im seeing and im pretty into her. Now weve been spending alot of time together and shes shown me that shes really into me aswell. Heres where the problem comes in: we went to a movie last week and she forgot her phone in the theator, only noticing when we got back to my place. I told her id go pick up her phone in the morning since i had the day off work. I did, and naturally since i had the clearance, looked through it. Alot of texts from dudes, most of which harmless except for one conversation. this is how it went:

Dude: Hey baby, what are you up to tonight?
HB7: Hey darling, just on my way home from a cottage, im pretty spend ***Cottage which i took her to btw***
Dude: Sounds like you partied, take a drive into the city to come see me
HB7: what did you have in mind, i'm pretty low mode today
Dude: Well i just wanted a low mode, low clothing kind if night if you know what i mean
HB7: sounds like fun!

so this bothered me obviously since weve been dating for 2 and ahalf months now.
my question is: whats my next move ? i thought about confrontation but then she would know i went through her shit!

any suggestions of what to do ?

either don't take this girl too seriously (coz obviously she doesn't take you that seriously)
or continue escalating coz maybe she doesn't take you too seriously yet, and she will after a time

you could send her a mesage saying something embarassing or whatever... then when you next hang out with her take her phone tell her your going to delete the message, then accidentally "stumble" upon her conversation with him. this way you can confront her without making it obvious that you went through her phone behind her back.

You want the reality of the situation? The situation is you are wining and dining her, while that other dude is 69'ing her. You are taking her to the cottage and other things, while she is traveling to see him to fuck his brains out.

Now that you know the score, treat it as such. Stop doing shit for this girl. Let her chase YOU, much like she's doing that other guy. The whole fact you picked up her phone for her is pathetic. Dude, she's a big girl and can handle her own stuff. The fact she got you to run and get it showed how whipped or desperate you seem. After all, was it YOUR fault she left her phone there? So why are you going over there on your day off.

For the love of god, don't say anything in regards to the texts you saw. If you are sitting at a high stakes poker table and you got to see somebody's hand, would you tell them? HELL NO. She'll think you are a creeper and a individual with self confidence issues if you do.

Also, start seeing other people PRONTO.

Well, one way you can do it is trust her. Let her go to this guy, then ask her what she did that day. If she lies to you, just dump her, don't give her a reason just do it.

Going through someone's phone happens, most people do it in relationships, but really it's just giving you a false sense of security. The reality is that people in relationships would delete anything incriminating even if they knew the person doesn't or couldn't look at their phones... why? Because no one wants to get caught, leaving evidence is asking to get caught. Getting caught makes people feel guilty, people hate feeling guilty

so just for some info about further progress on this situation, i told my buddy the story and he tells his girlfriend who tells the HB7 i checked through her phone, she started crying saying how shes crazy about me and she didnt do anything and it was just flirting and how she doesnt want me to dump her, now she just started giving assurances that shes not seeing anyone else but hasnt said she knows that iwent through the phone.
the good part is that she thinks im pissed so shes trying to make it up to me right now maybe ill just ride this wave a little

Then say, "its weird though, i mean, i wouldn't care if as long as she was honest and open about it, she must have her reasons. Maybe it's his fault."
Finally finish with " im so lucky ive got you babe", give her a big hug, kiss her softly, then tell her you love her while she breaks down and sobbing confesses. Then just dump her...
