There is a girl i started talking to who is 21. i am still 20 so i have what i like to call a "21 gap" to over come. Any pointers?
- she already knows my real age
-its hard to go out w. her to get to know her, if she invites me to 21 and up night clubs (she always forgets im not of age yet)
I'm guessing one way to go about it would be to act as though i'm older than her even though im not. (not lying, just playing the older role) ?
makes the competition rough from other 21 year olds.
im not doubting myself, im just trying to avoid seeming too young.
normally 1 year doesn't make a difference...

Why would you need to act older? Age shouldn't change anything, if you were 21 looking at a 20 year old would you feel any different?
I will admit I never had to watch other girls go to the bar, I had an ID from 17 on. Most of the time people go to the bar just because they can once they hit 21, but you should be able to lure her away.
Of course the gap between 21 and 20 is huge for the night life, but why would it stop you from gaming her? You don't need to go to the bar to hang out with her. You can isolate her, go to a restaurant that serves alcohol if it is a need, she can drink there. A lot of places like pool halls sell alcohol and allow under age kids in. Inviting her to diner/breakfast after the bar, call her say some friends were going to eat late.
But overall all you have to do is treat her the same as anyone else. You shouldn't have to act older, you should already be mature enough to handle this, or just find a younger girl.
You ended it right
Normally 0ne year doesn't make a difference. |

All girls, in essence, are the same. What makes them different are hurdles each of them have.
She's OK with your age, so just keep doing what you're doing. |

Lying is the easy way out and can get you into trouble. |

Lying? Why would he have to lie, he just wants to go out to the bar with her. He clearly stated that she knew he was only 20. |

He'd be lying to the bar, it seems that more and more places have ID scanning machines. If he attempts to get in with a fake and gets caught...not good. Most places will just take the ID and tell you to get lost, but with those repurcussions aside, if she sees him get kicked out or denied while she's walking in...total DLV. It's better to not even approach the subject of fake IDs. |
