This is a fragment from the GameBoy's Ultimate Guide to Cologne:
Just a few tips:
How to Apply:
Aside from reacting to your bodies own chemicals (pheromones and oils), cologne react to heat. Body-heat specifically. When applying; you want to target the areas of your body that product the most heat and are exposed to air. You want to trigger and release the scent in the most effective ways.
So, where are these magical locations?
-Wrists
-Neck
-Arm pits
-Behind the ears
-Chest (if exposed)
In that order. You can also spray the back of your knees and ‘Big-Ben’ (as one forum member referred to it) if you like, but the effect will be largely lost.
*Note: Do not spray cologne behind your ears – it will come off way too strong.
Instead; spray your wrists/the palm of one hand at close range – then swipe your finger in it and apply behind ears.
Tips:
-Do not apply cologne to wet skin. The cologne will dissipate incredibly fast and you will be left with a minor residue on your skin. (A residue that doesn’t smell that good at close range.)
-Do not rub your wrists together after you spray them. The friction and heat will increase the cologne’s breakdown in a bad way.
-If you are layering scents (applying more than one cologne to create a custom or richer scent) wait several seconds from the time you apply the first cologne to apply the second.. This will allow the first scent to ‘settle’ and bond with your skin before introducing the second.
-Rotate you cologne. Be that adventurous guy who’s got it all-together. You’re stylish, classy and refined. You have different colognes to match the occasion/outfit/mood. Have a variety and wear them to match. Women (and everyone else) will take note. It’s one of those incredibly sexy/confident/thoughtful details that stands out for being subtle. |

| For the love of God do not use AXE body spray. You'll smell like a taxi cab. It's just tacky, not to mention the only purpose it serves is to clear your sinuses. |

Axe is only good in an emergency!!! Like when you stink really bad and you sweated!
I know a guy who claims AXE gets him laid every night . Bull! He may be rich and go to a private college, but he is still a full-of-crap bragging AFC!
So don't use it unless you have no other choice.
Also avoid "indie" designer colognes like Kirra. You'll just smell like a cheap french whore.
I recommend Ferrari or Lacoste, Davidoff or Onyx.
or try one of the less well-known NON-DESIGNER colognes out there. There are some very good ones.
For example I like to use ASPEN. It has a nice foresty scent that also packs a masculine musky air. It gets girls' attention mainly because 1. it smells GREAT. 2. they have NO CLUE what it is! That gets 'em curious. |

| While I have my share of colognes (I have about 5 different kinds), I find that Old Spice "After Hours" reacts extremely well with my body oils/pheromones/hair product smell. I actually get a lot of complements on it. Maybe its just me, but don't be afraid to branch out and try something other then $70 colognes haha. |

Or you could pull one from the Mystery Method and spray some women's perfume on your shirt. When the target asks what you are wearing, you look confused, smell your shirt, and pretend to remember that it is the perfume of some girl that was recently all over you.
Remember women are more attracted to guys when they know other women are attracted to them. |

Being a PUA is to provide a unique experience for women. Hence, we should try to be unique in all areas that convey our personality, fragrance selection being no exception. It is simply not enough to wear a common fragrance to "just smell good."
After some personal research and trial and error, the following lesser used male fragrances are the ones I have found elicit the most favorable reactions from women.
More Expensive:
Day:
1.) Versace Dreamer
2.) Bvlgari Aqva
3.) Chic by Carolina Herrera
4.) Sander for men by Jil Sander
5.) 212 Men by Carolina Herrera
Night:
1.) HM by Hanae Mori
2.) Rochas Man
3.) Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin
4.) Bvlgari Black
5.) Armani Attitude
6.) Burberry London
7.) Gucci Envy
Less Expensive:
Day:
1.) Halston Unbound
2.) Versace Blue Jeans
3.) Perry Ellis 360 Red
4.) Claiborne Sport
5.) Iceberg Twice
Night:
1.) Escada Magnetism
2.) Black XS by Paco Rabanne
3.) Lucky No. 6 by Liz Claiborne
Hope this helps boys. |
