OK, so I went to an ophthalmologist(eye doctor) with my mom today(im only 16). We were in the waiting room, when the doctor's assistant comes in and leads us to a room. I had not seen her before and after seeing her, I was really intimidated by her beauty. She was very nice and friendly and smiled at me alot, which was a turn-on and made me feel good. In the room, I took a seat while she did some general testing on my eyes(i have bad vision).
The entire time that I was with her(btw my mom was in the room too), i was really nervous and anxious. I don't even know why! I tried my best to act real cool and calm, but then my hands started shaking!! my heart was beating really fast and she probably noticed this. The good part though was that I was speaking in a real calm and deep voice. Also, while we were talking to each other, we were making comfortable EC. I really liked this girl cos she made me feel real good and confident when she spoke to me and smiled at me. Overall, I think I did a decent job of showing her that I was a cool and confident alpha, despite my anxiety issues lol.
Anyways, how could I have made this situation a little bit better for myself? Also, do you guys know any ways of reducing anxiousness and nervousness while speaking to HBs or just by simply being in their presence. My anxiety and nervousness today is something that I sometimes struggle with, so any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
Side note: I was not really trying to game this woman. We were in a professional environment(although in a private setting). Furthermore, I was with my mom. I am 16 and she was around 22. Enough said lol. |
