Well I went to the venue alone. It's the weekend before my birthday and I'll be damn if I was sitting at home alone. One of my wings is sick, the other had a booty call last night. It was going to be all me. The place is essentially a bar/restaurant with a live band that plays in the back of the venue. I walked in and went to the back where the band was warming up. I ordered a drink, and spotted a 3 set over my right shoulder. (HB8 and two HB9's) I was a little nervous this was my first set but oh well. 3-2-1-Go! I walked up and used "Who Lies More" with a FTC. The set hooked with me and turned to. I started negging one of the 9's. We were having a good time and I was picking up IOIs from my target. So I started giving them back and was thinking about doing a move. At that time the band started playing, and then no one could hear very well. I grabbed her hand and move my head so she knew I wanted to move to talk. We went to the front bar ordered some drinks, and I went through comfort building. I told her I was going to get out of there and go to a bar nearby. She wanted to stay with her friends, I got a kiss and couldn't get the # close.
Next set, I see another three set (HB7s and HB8) towards the front of the bar where it's quieter. I go up to them and decide I'll run the jealous girlfriend opener. They're loving it. I then stack with Who Lies More, and I start using my DHV stories. I'm negging my target pretty hard, since she's being playful and coming back at me. It was fun. I then run the cube one of the obstacles. I do mystery esp on the other. My target is giving all kinds of IOIs. I give them back and slowly start the kino escalation. Then I use the old, I've been ignoring your friend mind if I borrow her for a while. I take her to a nearby table and do the question game. That opens her up. We're holding hands at this point. I then use another DHV story and she's getting googly eyes. I lean in to smell her hair and kiss her neck. She then pulls me to kiss her. I try for a bounce to a nearby restaurant for a bite to eat. She declines, and I get her phone number.
I decide since most of the sets are now back where the band is playing that I can't open back there. I decide to take my phone number and 2 kisses and go home for the night. I opened twice and failed my ultimate objective twice. I figure I'll call my HB8 Sunday and see what happens. I'll be going out again this evening, it's on this weekend. |
