Me and my wing went out thursday night to a couple bars and I followed peocock theory by wearing some plaid pants and a plaid hat. We walk in and we survey the room and I see a group of three that walked in and they are very closed off to each by the bar. I walk up to the left of one of them (HB10 body but HB8 face) and try to get the bartenders to get a drink. The bartender comes by but she orders a drink for them all and gets a Vodka Soda. So immediately I start to neg her choice of drink and say
"Thats a lame and generic drink, u probably have no personality" and look away to get my drink. I turn away and about to walk away with 2 drinks ( one for me and my wing) and she starts talking to me about her drink and starts to justify it to me. ZING. I neg her a couple more and neg her friends a little and walk away. I sit down at a booth with my wing and we start talking and we see the HB9 ( average of HB8 / HB10 ) and shes lost trying to find the bathroom so I start to think of ways to neg her. She comes back but ignores my wing who was going to make a comment, and a couple minutes later I catch her looking at me and wave her over, and her and her friends all come over and attempt to sit, but me and my wing dont budge. I tell her "ur the girl that got lost going to the bathroom right, u dont have a sense of direction huh?" and she budged me over and sat right next to me, and started saying your mean and what not, at which point i engage my wing in a conversation and ignore her telling me that im mean. I get laughing with my wing over a story and boom, her friends sits down next to my wing. My HB9 after a couple more negs, and telling me how she hates her x-boyfriends and blah blah blah, is like,"ur hot, i want to make out with you right now"
this is where I went wrong i think, and please be harsh on me,
I say, I charge by the hour, and that my goods are expensive and at which point, i ignore her response and talk to my buddy about another story. She starts holding my hand and stroking it and what not, and is completely touchy feely, the entire time, Im negging her. I think i negged her too much. They end up leaving, because of another friend who particularly didnt like us but we mention that we are going to the Kirkwood next.
40 minutes later - We are at the Kirkwood and voila, we see 2 girls there, one that fancied my wing, and the one that didnt really like us. My HB9 was apparently too drunk and left or something or she was in a bad mood.
anyways, any critiques on this ?
Me and my wing had a great time, but I was hoping to get a little more, I think the opportunity was there completely, but I didnt hook onto it.
O well, hopefully I get a chance to see them again,. |

I'm new to all this as well, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
You seemed to have started out pretty awesome. But you forgot one part about cat string theory, if you make it impossible, then the cat will lose interest and walk away. You certainly didn't make it too easy, because she was clearly engaged at one point. But you put yourself out of reach by the ignoring/negging her too much.
I think the "I wanna make-out" bit was probably a shit test, which you seemed to handle well because she started becoming more touchy. But when she started grabbing your hand, I think you should have made a move to isolate her and then kiss-close it. |
