I've just returned from my first night sarge and thus I am making my first post. Tonight was such a step forward for me into the game. My aim was to approach sets with the 3 second rule in mind and open them. My social shyness was totally controlled by fear of the approach. Thus I made my intensions to purely open sets. The groundbreaking thing for me was that all previous thoughts of how the set would react to what I was saying/doing were all WRONG!! Deep in the back of my amature head were thoughts like...
Everybody knows this stuff already....
They will laugh at me...
I will crash and burn and not know what to say next...
and all that typical afc crap.
As David D has said, he has never approached a set and been in a situation that he couldn't handle, NEVER! To be honest I wasn't in the mood to go out sarging, but I forced myself through it. I met up with Adonis (we just met tonight) in the city and we must have approached 10 sets each.
So there it is, first night sarge total success. _________________ "Character is destiny."
