I hope this is my first and last post regarding the man by the name of Dante Valentine and his coaching services.
Dante has a lot of times where he would rather lie to you than be honest and forthright with you and your game as a whole. He also has the insecurity of a controlling person. He can be Very controlling.. Either his way or no way. And I'm sorry, but as him being a teacher, that is not a good attitude to have.
Take a look at his website and tell me if you see many similarities between him and Mystery.. In my eyes, the California version of Mystery who actually tries to pass off MM's ideas as his own. I really wanted to believe in Mr. Valentine as the next great mpua but there are way too many signs he is just a businessman trying to market Mystery's ideas in basically a new light that he thinks people won't pick up on.. Well, this is why this post is here.
Now, for many of you who do not know my affiliation with Dante, him and I were once practically "best" friends and he will not deny that. Recently, I have figured out and noticed that Dante and his services, are basically a rehash of Mystery method as well as in my opinion, a scam; a copycat version of Mystery method for basically the same price($5000 for one on one coaching)
Now, I have studied with Mr. Valentine and worked with him on numerous occasions and honestly, I can tell you, this guy puts his money where his mouth is... Or... he would at least like you to THINK he does...
It all started when I met him at Club Social and we both exchanged business cards - he sold me on the fact he was a master pua dating coach and I sold him on the fact I was a master at online game..
Throughout knowing Dante, I was deceived left and right and he ended up being more talk than actual game. Being his once best friend, you would think someone would have the heart Not to deceive one and tell them you are something you're not or mislead you and tell you to go somewhere and the place ends up being nothing like it was said to be. He would go into a club with us as a group and the club would only let 2 out of the 4 people in the group in. He could have easily venue shifted to another place, but he chose to basically leave us outside and go in the venue. He would also lie a lot about his financial situation with me, saying that he was a stable pickup company which I had my doubts about at first and then further learned he just made lots of excuses about it. He would make unrealistic claims like "He was the best pua in the world", "He's going to be a millionaire", etc. Fine, the second one I respect, we all have that goal I think, but the first one... Ummm.. You guys have to judge yourselves and compare him to the other greats and see exactly if he fits that mold, which I don't truly believe he does. He'd mostly hide behind his "Mystery look alike death metal guitar playing" facade and actually fooled me into believing he was indeed a master at the game, which he by no means was when the time came for him to prove himself out in the field.
I have referred a number of clients to him and from what I've talked to them about regarding Dante's true game, they all thought Dante was good with his business pitch up front, but when it came time to deliver, the guy would get blown out most the sets he did. I also got no percentage on his success ratio with women, I thought it would be a high number, but then after truly spending time with him, he's just like every other marketing guru who wants to try to "come off like something different" How can you come off different when you look and teach like Mystery? Now that says something about one's character wouldn't you think..or lack thereof. Heck, I was also promised a $ percent from setting him up with my referrals, and he didn't even pay me on that. Not a good sign of an honest person in my opinion. Always told me "I'll have the money for you next week.. etc" and he'd keep saying that until I just stopped asking for it.. Well, hopefully this post is the way to show that I "still have not forgotten about it, Dante"..
I'm sure Dante has his good moments in game, heck, I've seen him when he does, but mostly, this guy has a hard time setting the bar with his students. He doesn't see things on your level and he is overly self conscious / egotistical about his image in the "pickup" world, so much to a point where even this expose post on him will probably shatter his "ego". Tough, Dante, you screwed me and I feel people should know about it. You screwed me as your friend, you screwed me as a business partner, and you sure as hell screwed me as your student and I'm sure you will continue to indirectly screw other people as well.. You always made me feel like I was a "dumb" student while you were "the grandmaster who knew it all" even when you didn't because you would say one thing and basically do another which made you come off VERY incongruent. The "above all" attitude you had portrayed made it very hard for me to learn with you. I've coached with other dating coaches and they always made sure I felt like I was on their level, you made me feel like I was way below you - and you'd constantly criticize me put me under extreme pressure about a concept I may not have gotten as fast as you'd have liked me to.
He charges about 5k for his one on ones and let me tell you, Mystery I believe does charge around that or more. So, is $5000 really worth the price with Dante Valentine? I once thought so, but the answer is entirely.. NO... because again, he just rehashes Mystery method and is like a carbon copy of Mystery. Dante looks like him, dresses like him, teaches like him, even sounds like him (actually uses a lot of Mystery's verbage as well as has the same laugh as Mystery, which is kinda creepy in my opinion) I'd rather just learn with the original, rather than with the clone.
I strongly forbid people from signing up with Dante and if you disregard this post and say "ah what the hell", do so at your own risk. He knows his techniques and theory very well, but he also is a married man who hooks up with other girls as his somewhat "naive" wife sits around and accepts it. There were many times him, his wife, and I would have discussions on his cheating on her and how he's so caught up in being "the best pua in the world" that he totally negates the fact he has a loving girlfriend who turned wife that loves him for who he is. You can't just make out with chicks at the club when you have a wife! Nobody here can agree to that..
So, I stongly recommend you guys either learn from my experience and stay far away from Dante - so you don't pick up on his bad aura and have it spread on you. He smokes cigarettes, drinks a lot even when he's teaching, doesn't ever sleep, and truly has no personal value system which makes it very scary.. He will basically tell you to run through a red light because he just doesn't care.. He has no car so why would he care? Is pickup worth getting into trouble? I believe Dante thinks so. If you have been sold by his demeanor at a club or are unsure, go out with him once and truly get a feel for who he is as a person and hopefully you will as I do come to the conclusion that he is as one man on the forum referred to him as, "The poor man's Mystery" although he doesn't come cheap and he sure as hell isn't as good as him, maybe B-level at best! I don't want to sound overtly negative on him, but I feel you guys need to know this kind of as a "buyer beware" after I found out what I did on him and realized he is just a bad person to be around (unhealthy bad).. I feel sorry I once advertised here for him. He actually made me lie and tell everyone on the board how much I thought his game was great. I shouldn't have done that. I feel shitty for doing it. He would have people write heavily biased field reports totally upping his image without really giving many specifics on what exactly was learned. Be VERY careful if you want to spend money with him because he is not very trustworthy at first(or at all really) and he is very much out for himself, not the student's needs. He has an ego that is very hard to break and because of that, it makes him very unwilling to listen to the student's needs(Something I find very important in a teacher)
Without further adeu, I Had a few months of personal one on one experience with Dante Valentine from March to June and I very much believe that he should get the red flag and people should be very careful on his rockstarcasanova.com service as it is basically Mystery Me(although he is definitely not as good as he states himself to be on the site), but as an all around person, he is very deceptive both personally and business wise, and wants to basically screw you out of any money he can get from you. Buyer beware!

PS: Dante and mods, please do not delete this post because I think the forum members here Need an honest / personal a count of one man's intimate friendship experience with D.V and I should not be disqualified from speaking the truth I had when I was his good friend. Dante, I'm sure you WILL deny all of this.. but it only takes for one person to give you $5000 to make it clear that you and manipulatively "won over the customer" and in my eyes, I will not see that happen, so hopefully this post will help get my message across to anyone even considering you to think again. Maybe if you never screwed me over I would never write this, but, the truth is, you did. I didn't deserve to be on the backhand of his money making "take over the world" like agenda.. So that's why I don't want anyone else here to go through what I went through with this very shady character. Do not let his "one trick pony" skills fool you, he is a very dark , shallow, and crazy person. He punched a hole through his apartment wall out of apparent female frustration. I saw it. This is not someone who you should ever call a "dating coach" in your life. Hopefully you do live a healthy honest life and will automatically screen out the darkness like Dante in a heartbeat.
PSS: No matter how much you try to persuade me into free training for writing an overly glossy and extremely positively biased review that basically states you do no wrong, you won't ever get me to do one of those again. They basically show you have no spine for true critique and are seeking clients and not being sought by them. it's scarcity mentality I believe at its finest. Please don't have other people lie for you and have them make phony reports about your teachings and make you out to be someone you're not, believe me, people will see when those "supposive objective" field reports surface on these forums.. people need to go near you for 5 minutes and that will put into a personal perspective everything in which I mention here gets validated. You don't know who you are and you hide behind the many facades you do out of personal insecurity. Hey, we're all not perfect, but you definitely aren't ready in my opinion to be charging 5k for who you are. I mean, Who is the real Dante? |
