This works for me and i've developed it years ago. I know i'm probly not the first to have done this. But out of everyone i know I've put the most thought into it and why.

I first did this with a girl named magan. she's a HB 7.5-8.2 some guys would put her higher. maybe more now days since she's a gogo dancer where i'm at and very friendly.

anyways the way i met her is that she was with a set of 4 girls. being that she was attractive she knew alot of the guys around the club. she was near the bar.

I run solo but i always run into someone i know. So in reality i'm never alone. but i do sarge alone. anyways. I see megan and her friends. I want to do a shot.

I make it a point to order near them. it works out perfect. I come off as a fun guy asking if they want anything.

me:hey i'm about to do a shot by myself you girls want one too?
the girls look at me wondering if i'm serious and who am i.
girls:what kind of shot?
me:i'm doing chilled crown. just get what you want. just don't make me break my bank.(gets a laff)(don't force your drink on girls it turns some off. let them drink what pleases them. a sick girl is a usless girl. and aslo offer a soda or water if the girl or one of them doesn't want to drink. you're there to have fun not to come off as the guy trying to get them drunk)
girls:oh can i have a STP, cosmo. (whatever..)

while waiting for the shots i usally just make small talk. friendly bantor ie. what are you here for? are you here for a party? ect.

i get the shots and pay, maybe if you like, peacock a little cash. I usually have it under the bar where it looks like only i can see. but if the girl is observant she'll watch what you are doing.

before we take the shots i usually ask their names...
me:whats your girls' name anyways?
girls:becky and kim or whatever
me:nice to meet you so and so, maybe i'll toast to thier reason for being here. or just a generic one like here's to a good night and good friends/ new friends.
girls:cheers.
me:thanks for doing the shot with me, i'll catch yall later.

i walk away with my drink and now next time i see them its like we are friends. now days me and megan see eachother at the clubs all the time. she knows tons of girls. and if i met one she knows there is no way anything bad will ever be said about me.

why? because i treated her right. didn't make a move. megan was an investment. and it paid off.

it works for me cause where i come from is a small place where your reputation follows you where ever you go.

now i'm late for work. grrr

This would be a DHV i think. He was at the bar, they happened to be there to. A DHV comes in becuase he jsut offers tehm a drink makes small talk gets their names, then simply leaves. Its an AFC move if you buy them a drink and then expect them to give you the world. So this just makes him look like a generous person to buy some strangers a drink will no care or reason. IMHO this works right as he puts it, makes you a pivot and most likely not much more.

basicly what i'm trying to say is you need to keep in mind where i am.

small town. chances of running into the same people are high. unlike big cities where some of you are at.

just try the approach. then you can knock it. i'm just trying to give you more arsenal for what you guys have.

and buying a girl a drink is not afc to me. like osiris wrote, i'm not coming off like i expect something. and that to girls is something different. makes me seem more appealing.

and Sovnarkom please don't tell me i was lucky. I've used this many times. and got different results. most of them all good. it has nothing to do with luck.

it even works if you run into the set again the same night. and the real cool girls will even buy you drinks to return the jesture. (its happend to me)

next time you are out sarging on your own try it.

i'll break it down.

1. you come off as a cool guy
2. you got drinks for the CB or potential CB
3. you open the set.
4. you got thier name.
5. you leave on a good note. making them wonder how a cool guy like you is in a club and they never met someone like you before.
6. you already have common ground. (yeah its one drink but so what?)
7. this leaves you open for all kinds of stuff. you can isolate the pick later.

The only people I ever buy drinks for are friends. I refuse to pay for drinks for random people. If I can't get their friendship without spending money on them, I won't bother. The only time I might is if I somehow loose a game of 5 questions or something.
IMO, buying a drink lowers you slightly, even in this situation, when you are obviously not asking for any more.

Getting a girl to buy you a drink is much better. One night (before I started using any gaming techniques) I saw a girl who I thought was swiss. HB 7 perhaps. The convo went something like this;

Me: Hey, would you happen to be swiss?
HB: Umm, no.
Me: Yes you are, I think you're lying to me!
HB: I'm not, I swear!
Me: Well it doesn't matter, because for the rest of the night, you are my swiss friend, and you are named Helga! (Putting arm around her)
HB: Hahaha ok (slipping arm around me and squeezing my ass)
HB: Wanna buy me a drink?
Me: Hmm, I have no money, but I'm pretty thirsty, wanna buy me one?
HB: I suppose so.

She leads me down to the bar where we wait, my friend comes over and starts talking to me, and I get bored with HB and waiting, so I just walked off.

Now that I think back to it, a nice opener came from that without me realizing it!

Oh, and Nerd Avenger, correct me if I'm wrong guys, but a pivot is a female friend you take out with you to use as social proof and such.

and yeah i'm re reading the game. but it goes back to pimpology. never buy a girl anything.

but for me i don't care. there are exceptions to the rule. i never buy one if the girl ask or imply that i should.

my way is more of a DHV, then walk away and show non intrest. let them chase me or wonder about me. like what do i have that makes me so care free and not worry about spending money on 4 drinks.

girls thinking is.

1. he's the sucker who bought me the drink.
----in that case do i really care after? nah. i had the money to blow. if not i wouldn't have done it. Just like any approch be prepared to get shot down.

2. he's not like other AFCs thinking just cause he bought drinks i need to fuck him now. maybe in her mind she's thinking WHY DOESN'T HE WANT TO FUCK ME!!?
------ now she's wondering what i do. how come i can just blow $25 or more for a round tip $10 and not worry bout it. plus i know the bartenders most of the time. and they always give me a smile and a whats up and hand shake. Like some PUA say, act like a vip, get treated like a vip and girls will notice. they'll wonder what you got to get you that status.

and that reminds me. sometimes when i do this approach. i'll take the girl into the VIP room if there is a bar. or waitress. and it gives them a sence of wow if they are not used to to it. again DHV. If they got BF or AMOG i can DLV, "well i dunno I like to be comfortable, and i like my girls, friends, to be comfortable too." ontop of that i just got iscolation.

its just an approach. there is many ways to go about it.

I read your approach and have a friend who basically does it the same way. Sometimes he buys, sometimes they do.

He does it in the same off hand way that you do also, not a 'can I buy you a drink' kindof bullshit. More of a 'Here drink this'. But he also throws in a little C&F, 'Tastes awfull doesn't it' then 'you're to easy' and walks off.

Let me say, he works in a fairly closed circle environment. Next time he is around, they buy his.

It works well. Not AFC at all.

I see where this is going and I just want to add that you CAN open with anything the importance of the opener is the way you deliver it.

IF you control your Body language, Voice, (etc...) any opener could work for you.

When a guy (with "I JUST WANT TO FUCK" written in his forehead) approach a set and says want a drink, girls will say yeah , why not... a free drink, but when they get the drink they will disappear and say thanks. In the other hand you have this smooth guy... with great personality and an excellent body language and he is talking to the bar tender when 2 girls sit next to them , he turn his head around and says in a deep voice : HEY want a drink ... See the difference...

In my opinion ;

Disadvantages: I don't like spending some money only to know persons , I think we have another openers that will work and you will not loose money.

Maybe you telegraph some interest but you can work on your frame, so this don't affect you.

Common, Girls are used to this opener , but once again work on the frame to make it original.

Use it only when you don't have any other opener in mind and your in the mood, otherwise you will be just loosing money.

Advantages: This opener can work, in many situations. Given you a great chance to create some connection (with the toast, etc...) in the first few seconds. A small variation can be made , telling the girls that they should buy the second round later on. (option # 1) If done correctly this opener should work and do its job. Open.

As a second Variation I will comment that YOU SHOULD add a funny DHV story to follow up the toast saying something like ( option #2 ) The other day I was drinking in the bar an a girl approached you asking if she could kiss to make her BF jealous... etc just add a funny interesting story to reach the hook point.

Important things to make the opener work:

BE unique and original, Try to be fresh your buying the girls a drink because your a nice guy, Proper Execution in this opener including nice BL (Body Language) good Voice and tonality to avoid looking as an AFC just trying to hook some girls to have sex.
